One evening, I decided to go for a little stroll around the neighborhood. The weather was so beautiful. It was warm and clear, and I wanted to enjoy the gorgeous scenery. As I was walking, I heard familiar music. I headed in its direction, and as I got closer, I realized that it was Kitty singing and playing her harp. She was sitting by the water's edge in a nearby field. She wore a pink zip-up onesie with a long tail in the back, and she was surrounded by a rainbow of colorful flowers and birds that seemed to be singing along with her. I stood there, just listening and watching, and I was absolutely taken aback. She was like a pixie or a forest fairy, singing with the birds, and some of them were even sitting on her shoulders, her arms, her back, and even on her lap. I had to take out my phone, and film this beautiful, enchanting moment.

After a few minutes, she finally looked up to see me standing there. Her face immediately lit up. "Oh, hi, Maddie!" she squealed excitedly.

I smiled, still feeling as if I was in a magical dream. "Hi. I was just going for a walk."

She returned the smile. "Yeah, it's a beautiful evening, isn't it?"

"Very."

"I was just practicing for the concert."

"I know. You sound beautiful."

"Awwww, thank you, Sweetheart. Come sit with me."

"I don't wanna scare off your bird friends," I said hesitantly.

"Awww, you won't scare them. They'll love you, too. Come here."

I slowly approached her, and carefully sat next to her, hoping I wouldn't startle the birds. Thankfully, they didn't fly away.

"It's okay, sweet little birdies," Kitty said in a cutesy animal voice. "She's a friend." The soothing sound of her childlike voice seemed to keep the birds calm and relaxed. She giggled as they climbed and moved all over her. "That tickles!" she squeaked.

"How do you do that?" I asked.

"Do what?"

"The way they just surround you... and they seem to feel really safe with you, how did you get them to come to you?"

"I don't know. I was just singing and playing my harp, and they flew over one by one, and started singing with me."

"They really seem to like you."

"Awww, well, I like them, too. They're sweet little babies."

"So, do you always come here to play?"

"Mmhmm. I couldn't when we were still in college. There was nowhere I could sit by myself and play, nowhere in nature that was close enough for me to just carry my harp to."

"So, you like to play in nature."

"I do. Ever since I was little, I would take my harp, go sit in the woods or in a field, and play and sing my heart out. When I was little, I lived in the most beautiful area. There were all kinds of flowers and trees everywhere you looked. I used to sit in the backyard, and I would play and sing to my heart's content. There were so many birds and butterflies and all sorts of sweet little critters around. They always flew down just to sit around me, listen to me sing, and the birds sang along sometimes. I don't know what it was that made them come to me, but..." she sighed happily with a dreamy look in her eyes, "it was wonderful. I remember one time, I was singing and playing a cute little song. I don't remember what it was, but a little honey bee landed on my zipper. I was scared at first, but I kept singing. The little baby was just sitting on my zipper, buzzing away, almost like she was singing along. It was the cutest thing. I fell in love with her. She was a little sweetheart. I soon realized that she wasn't going to sting me. She just wanted to sing with me, and she loved my zipper so much for some reason. So... I played and sang her a lullaby, and she fell asleep. I didn't want to wake the poor thing, so I let her stay... and I kept singing to her until she woke up. Then, she kissed my nose and flew away. I never saw her again, but it was the sweetest thing I'd ever seen. Just for a moment, I felt like I was her mother, and she was my baby. That's a memory I will always cherish. I love singing with the animals. Whatever hard times I go through, when I sit and sing with them, everything's okay. I feel like I'm their mother, and I'm singing to my babies."
