Hello hello!
Of course this book was inspired by 0x1=LOVESONG and LO$ER=LO♡ER but there were also a few other songs that really helped inspire me to write this story. I thought maybe you'd listen to them and understand more about the story!!
Train Wreck by James Arthur was one that contributed greatly. There was something about how soft the song was, but also the pure desperation in his voice which was an emotion that fit the bill!
Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez seemed fitting to me. Putting up a front was a big proponent of this story and being seen one way and actually being another way was one that fit well.
Foreigners God by Hozier just had the sound and the desperation. Something about the purest expression of grief really inspired me.
Sober Up by AJR was a more cheerful song that fits the vibe for the story. The lyrics 'I just wanna feel something again' are very fitting.
Humpty Dumpty by AJR too. Putting up a front around some people and then when you're alone, the front collapsing completely is an idea I really liked.
That's really all the songs I listened to. The first one was the one I listened to on repeat. The two TXT songs most certainly played into the story the most.
