A Second Chance

I arrived home, and saw my parents again arguing.

"We can't pay these!? I rather have you stay here and die!" Mom yelled.

What're they talking about?

"I have cancer!" I flinched and bit my lip.

I forgot dad was born with cancer. And when he went to the hospital, more debts came in. But his cancer did disappear, but doctors told me it was a bigger chance that his cancer will relapse.

My mouth trembled and I quietly walked pass the kitchen and into my room. I lied down on my bed and covered myself, I quietly cried.

"Ji Hyun!!!" There was screaming, my eyes immediately opened wide. I got up rapidly and ran into the living room, "pass me the remote" dad demanded, I sighed. I passed him the remote.

I guess none of this was a dream.

"Why are you just standing there!? Go get ready for school!" He yelled.

School, I forgot...

I always hated school. I only had two friends. I sighed, many people disliked me from what I've done in my junior ( middle ) school. Many rumors about me cheating, sleeping with a bunch of guys spread. Got in many fights, now that I think of it, it wasn't cute or cool.

I made a kid go to the hospital, that's when it all started how everyone feared me. They think I'm some type of monster or freak.

But either way, it's good to feel and look young!

I grabbed my school bag. "Hey, hey! When you're coming back get me a twelve pack" dad said, I sighed "alright" and I left the house.

I'm pretty you go this way to the school. Or wait... is it this way?

"Lost, Ji Hyun?"

That voice...

I turned around, Min Ha Joon.

Ha Joon had blonde hair, with dark eyes, he had a beauty mark under his mouth. With glasses. He had the same school uniform as me.

I loved Ha Joon.

While Seung Ho always denied me, Ha Joon always accepted me.

"Ha J-Joon?" I stuttered, he walked closer to me and played with my hair. "You seemed lost, Ji Hyun" I continued to admire his appearances and his soft voice, "Ji Hyun?" I snapped out of it.

"Huh, no! I-I mean, just was waiting for you" that was a whole lie, I forgot the way I take to school. Ha Joon laughed, "let's go then!" He put his arm around me, I smiled softly.

We arrived at school, "Ji Hyun! Ha Joon!" A girl started running to us, she had long blond hair, beautiful green eyes, she was shorter than me.

Choi Ae Cha was her name.

"Ae Cha," Jin smiled "good morning you two!" She smiled brightly, we smiled. "I heard some famous dude is going to attend our school" I scoffed.

I don't need another snob around me.

"What do you think, Ji Hyun?" Ae Cha asked "what do I think of what?" I asked "the new guy. Think he'll be attractive?" I scoffed "nah," I glanced up at Ha Joon and quickly looked away.

We were walking in the school hallways.

"He's so cute." I forgot, Min Ha Joon was popular in school, every girl's dream guy. I took my phone out, "Ji Hyun, what did I say about walking with your phone out?" ha Joon spoke up, "wait, just checking my schedule."

"Your schedule? For what?" Ae Cha asked "uh, just cause" I replied nervously.

I don't know my schedule...
