FIRST POV

"Make sure to review that. That's the only step you keep messing up" Seung Ho walked me out to the gate, I nodded understanding.

Seung Ho noticed the silence, he broke it. "What did you Ha Rin talk about before I got there?" I was surprised by his question.

"N-nothing" I stuttered "well that nothing, kept distracting you and makes you look uneasy. It's annoying" I started fidgeting with my thumbs. Seung Ho sighed again, and pulled hushed face down with his hand like he was annoyed.

"Whatever she said Ji Hyun. Ignore it" I looked up to him from my hands. "Ha Rin is just... I guess she wants the best for me in a way. So she usually scares people away that I'm around with."

So I wasn't the only one.

"So don't let whatever she said, bother you" "alright... Well I should go, night" I left.

Walking back home, I remembered Ha Rin's words.

Give Seung Ho a chance? More like he gives me a chance?

Why am I even talking like I want the chance!?

I scoffed.

No way I can ever see myself with Seung Ho. The whole point of this is to live the life I always wanted.

Reality hit.

But I haven't. I'm still living the same boring, miserable, dull life like always.

Honestly, if this was gonna happen and if I had a choice. I would've preferred staying in my old life.

With my children, in my big house and comfy bed.

And I have to relive final exams!

I frowned.

WITH SEUNG HO

Seung Ho was in the huge kitchen with island table, with Ha Rin and Seo Joon.

"So what did you and Ji Hyun talk about?" Sung Hi glared at her "don't worry about it" Ha Rin smiled at him while taking a bite of her apple. "Baaabe, I want you to hold me like you hold that apple~!" Seo Joon pouted.

Ha Rin put the apple down, "your wish is my command!" She wrapped her arms around him, and they both started giggling. Seung Ho gave him them a disgusted look.

"You guys are so cring—"

"Get a hold of yourself, Seo Joon."

Everyone in the kitchen froze in fear, being familiarized with the deep, strong tone of voice that just came from the kitchen door way.

Ha Rin immediately took her arms back from Seo Joon, they all turned around to face the person. Seo Joon rapidly held Ha Rin's hand, and pushed her behind him.

"F-father..." Seo Joon spoke up, a women walked up from behind him. "Mother... I thought you guys were abroad" Seo Joon added.

"We came a little early. But we were too busy to come home until now" their mother replied, she side eyed Ha Rin, "it's amazing to see you're still here" Ha Rin felt belittled by her.

"I told you before, Ha Rin changed me. So I thought you took the hint in that moment, I've settled down. With her" his hand tightened around hers.
