chapter sixty two

A/N: it's been so long since i publish a chapter. i've finished school and wanted to enjoy my summer vacation with no worries! i still have so much time before school starts again! And I want to take this time to continue my writing :)! I'm sorry for the long wait!!!

I was out with Ae Cha Christmas shopping.

"Maybe this cute sweater for Myung Seouk" Ae Cha grabbed it from its hanger. With no reply, she noticed I wasn't paying attention.

"Ji Hyun?" She caught my attention immediately and I looked over my shoulders "Sorry Ae Cha" "you've... haven't been mentally here these past days. Is everything alright with you? Are you worried about Seung Ho?" She asked worriedly.

"What, no! I'm sorry to make you worry Ae Cha" I grabbed her hands and gave her a reassuring smile. "I don't want you to bottle things up Ji Hyun. You can talk to me." She tightened her grip around my hands.

How do I tell you... I'm going to die?

I smiled at her, "I'm alright!" I exclaimed happily. I grabbed the sweater she held before "so cute, you should get it" I tried changing topics. Ae Cha sighed, accepting defeat.

She gave me a light smile.

"So how's Seung Ho doing?" " Seo Joon doesn't really let him do a lot of stuff now" I replied "and are you guys gonna do something for Christmas?" She smirked mischievously as me.

"Pervert. We're planning too but I'm a little nervous" "Well then... how about we come over for a Christmas Eve party and leave before it hits 12?" Ae Cha suggested.

"To ease the nerves" she added, I smiled. "I'd really like that."

More time with them...

After parting ways with Ae Cha, I went over to Seung Ho's place.

I knocked on his door, I found him sitting up in his bed reading a book.

"What're you reading?" I walked in happy to see him "a boring book that I've read multiple times in this life and the last" I reache over for a kiss.

"What's in the bag?" He noticed "presents," I smiled at him and sat beside him. "By the way, Ae Cha suggested a Christmas Eve party, what do you think?"

"Doesn't matter to me. If it makes you happy then..." he grabbed my hand "I'm fine with it" I lied my head on his shoulder. "I'm gonna miss you..." I mumbled "huh?" "Nothing!" I stood up immediately.

"Where Ha Rin and Seo Joon?" "Christmas shopping as well, and I think for decorations as well." I looked at the clock he had beside his bed, "I should get going. My parents are gonna get mad if I'm not home to help around" he kissed me once more.

"You sure you have to—" I cut him off "I dealt with it before. I can deal with it again. I'll be okay" I soon left his place and went back home.

"Seung Ho, we're home!!" Ha Rin yelled walking inside the place, Seung Ho came down stairs. "Why are you coming down?" Seo Joon asked "I'm fine. Just still having a small fever, not like I'm on my death bed or something" Seung Ho tried going through the bags but Ha Rin shoved him away.

"Nuh uh, no peeking" Seung Ho sighed "was just trying to see the declarations you guys brought" Seung Ho said, Ha Rin sniffed around.

"Was Ji Hyun here? "Yeah... how'd you know?" "I recognize her scent, it's in the air" Seung Ho gave her a weird look. "She's suppose to be my girlfriend."

"How come she didn't stay for longer?" Seo Joon asked "she had to go" Seung Ho replied "look at him! Sad cause his girlfriend left him!" "Oooo!" Seo Joon made childish noises. Ha Rin poked at his cheek but Seung Ho pushed it away.

"You both act like children" Seung Ho glared at them and went back up stairs. "He's so in love with her" "just like how I'm in love with you" Seo Joon swooped Ha Rin up and kissed her.

I was mopping the floor until Jae Hyun walked in.

"You missed a spot" I looked down at the trail behind her, that she left.

Mud.

"Where'd you even get mud on your shoes from?" "Cabin party last night" she sat down "you couldn't leave your shoes at the door steps like regularly?" I asked passive aggressively.

"Was too tired to" "alright..." I mopped the mud away. "Where's eomma and appa?" She asked "appa at the casinos, doing God knows what. Eomma, she left to go do business. I don't even know what business so don't ask me" I answered coldly.

"Ooo Ji Hyun is talking back now. Finally learned how to stand up for yourself?" She smirked, I gave her a side eye look. "Jokes. Gosh, can't even take a joke. It's like you became emo or something, so serious" she rolled her eyes.

I fully ignored her, Jae Hyun stood up. "You're making a mess Jae Hyun, go remove your shoes when you're walking around the house" I demanded "and if I don't? Are you gonna force me?" She gave me a snarky smile.

"Exactly," she walked out of the kitchen. That's when I heard the door open and close, it was eomma.

This is my moment to ask her if I could go out.

"Eomma, I wanted to ask you something?" "What is it Ji Hyun?" "I was wondering if I can leave for Christmas Eve, and come back during the day of Christmas?" She paused for a second and looked at me.

"What would you be doing that takes long?" "A party with friends! And I wanted to enjoy it as much as I can!" "Until the day..?" "Sleeping over. I don't wanna come home and be loud while you and appa are asleep."

She sighed, "I don't care what you do. Just don't cause trouble that makes the police come to the house" "I promise. Thank you" I mopping and put the mop away and went to my room.

I should text Ae Cha that the party is on.

And I did.

I looked at calendar on my phone. The Christmas Eve party was in three days and I was excited.

Oh, I should wrap the gifts up!!

A/N: might lost my touch by a lot !!! This chapter couldn't been a whole lot better and longer but I still hope you somewhat enjoyed it, it'll be getting juicy soon! There might be come errors, I did this so late and rush and I'm so tired! Good night !! 💝
