Ding!

I stood behind the counter when I heard my phone go off. I picked it up and saw the nonfiction, it was a message from Seung Ho once again.

Summer break was almost over, and through out it. Seung Ho has been trying to reach me.

I scoffed and turned my phone off.

If he wanted to apologize, he should in person.

Gun Woo entered, "Seung Ho again?" I nodded "I don't understand men! Why be mean and then try to apologize the very next second!?" I put my head to the counter.

"I just don't get it... is he trying to confuse me!?" Gun Woo chuckled at my comments. "Maybe see what he wants to say?" "No! I can't give in that easily! He slapped my gifts and yelled at me!"

"Got a point" I noticed Gun Woo putting decorations up "what're you doing?" "Halloween decorations" "it's only August though?" "August is going to finish in a week. And September goes pretty fast."

"Lord, I don't want to go back to school. I always run into Seung Ho" I groaned, Gun Woo smiling, being grateful he isn't in school anymore.

A customer came in, "welcome!" We both yelled with a smile.

WITH SEUNG HO

"Did you hear me Seung Ho!?" Do Hyun yelled "yes!" Seung Ho shouted, storming out of the office that belonged to his father. Do Hyun went after him.

"Answer me correctly! I won't be putting up with this attitude!" He grabbed Seung Ho from the collar. Seung Ho scoffed, "are you going to hit me? Then do it!" "Don't encourage your father Seung Ho" Soo Min walked in with her glass of wine.

"You're telling me so many things to do and not do! I'm not some machine! I can't do all these things at once!" "The hell did I have another kid for if it's going to be more pathetic than the first one?" he released his grip.

"You're stressing me out! Mom is showing me women that want to be my wife! And wedding planning! You're on my ass about businesses, and how to do everything! How about let me be a teenager like everyone el—" he was cut off.

"Cause you're not everyone else! You're better! You have to be better!" Soo Min rolled her eyes and walked away.

Seung Ho stood there. With emotionless eyes. He felt nothing.

"And until you come around, leave" Seung Ho scoffed "leave?" He didn't reply. "Thank you!" Seung Ho stormed out.

It started raining, "just great" he disregarded the rain.

"You really think that's the best choice? That boy might never come back" "then so be it. We'll make another one" Soo Min scoffed "you're not the one carrying the child" she closed the door.

I arrived home. I squeezed the water out of my clothes. "I should've known it was going to rain" I blowed dried my hair and went into warm, dry clothes.

I found a note, that eomma and appa were going to be out. And who knows where's my older sister is at, probably with a friend.

I sat down on the couch, peace and quiet. It was just loud yesterday with their yelling about money but I got it to stop once I gave them my paycheck.

I turned on the tv until I heard a knock at the door.

Did Jae Hyun come home?

I walked to my door and opened it. My eyes widened, when I saw him stand there; emotionless, pale, shivering. Wrapping himself with his arms.

"Can... I come in?"

"W-what?" I stuttered, I wasn't expecting him to be here.

"Can I come in?" I snapped out of my shock "uh sure" he came in "I'll bring you a towel" I ran to get one and came back hoping he won't smack it of my hand this time.

But surprisingly, he took it and dried himself.

"What're you doing here?" I asked annoyed and kept my arms crossed "I... didn't know where to go" "how about home?" I said mean.

Seung Ho stayed quiet, "go shower. I'll bring you some clothes, and we can talk" Seung Ho walked to the bathroom while I went to look for clothes that'll fit him.

I sat in the living room with the clothes, waiting for him to finish. I finally heard the water stop. I got up and walked to the door, I knocked on it.

The door opened to a dripping wet Seung Ho with only a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Gah!" I covered my face "what?" "You're naked! "Not really... you've seen me fully naked, so why are you—" "here!" I threw the clothes at him and shoved him back into the bathroom, and shut the door.

I was blushing, "god, he's so slow."

I waited in the living room again, and I heard the door open. He walked out, the pants fit him but the shirt didn't. It would still reveal his v-line.

"Got anything else?" I nodded no "it covered most I guess" he sat down next to me. "Your parents?" "Out" "your sister?" "Out."

We sat there in silence. The only thing playing was the tv in the background.

"So," I finally spoke up "why are you here? I haven't seen you since... that day" my face looked annoyed. "About that day, Ji Hyun" "I don't care. It happened, I'm over it" I stood up. "You can sleep here, leave tomorrow morning."

I was about to walk away until Seung Ho grabbed my wrist and pulled me to him.

"Then why haven't you replied to my messages if you're over it?" I pulled my wrist away "who cares?" Seung Ho stood up, our bodies touched, I didn't dare look at his stupid face.

"I care—" "but did you in the moment!?" I finally looked at him.  "Ji Hyun—" "ugh, you're so annoying!" "I'm sorry!" He shouted.

"I'm sorry, okay?" Seung Ho put his head on my shoulder "you won't get my sympathy cause you're all sad" I snapped at him. "I don't care.. but I am sorry, Ji Hyun. I shouldn't have acted out to you, even if I have my own problems" he pulled his head up.

Seung Ho sat down, I sighed.

He was patient with me...

I took a seat next to him. Seung Ho explained everything.

"I don't want them seeing you, they'll try to talk to you, try to ruin you. When you have nothing to do with the family affairs" we were sitting on my couch.

"I see... Seung Ho, I—" "just away from them" "but—" "stay away from them Ji Hyun!" He had a tone of beg. "Alright, alright. I will. I'll stay away from them."

I stood up, "I'm going to head to bed now" he nodded. "There's a blanket right there" I gave him a quick smile and left.

Seung Ho tried getting comfortable for awhile on the couch, but he kept staring at the ceiling.

"Seung Ho," he heard me and sat up, he looked at the hall way, "Ji Hyun?" "Would you... want to sleep with me?" Seung Ho flinched "the couch is uncomfortable and it gets hot here easily during August."

Seung Ho and I got comfortable in my bed. I had my back turned to him, I fell asleep.

Seung Ho stared at my back.

I guess it's comfortable since it isn't our face time sleeping together.

I turned around, Seung Ho froze up thinking I was awake for a moment but realized I wasn't.

She fell asleep that fast?

He watched me sleep, a smile appeared on his lips.

He stayed admiring me.

I love everything about you; your mid long hair, your somewhat soft hair, your choppy ends, your smile lines, your eyes, your touch, how you snaugh, how you're kind, yet mean...

Seung Ho pushed the strand of hair behind my ear.

His pupils dilated.
