A dense fog began to make it's way into a low familiar valley, glistening with stardust. The sound of silence gripped the dark night sky above. Droplets of dew hung onto the tall grass, emitting a wet cool, yet warm scent into the air. Snowfall glanced around her taking in a sniff of the air only to groan right after. This is a dream!

She pouted her lip and sat down on the grass but quickly stood back up feeling the uncomfortable moistness beneath her and shook out her white pelt. How am I even able to feel that? Her pale eyes gazed at the place she had found herself once again, barely able to make out what was in front of her.

What is with the Ancestor wolves and their ambiguity? I haven't had a dream in forever!

She had to admit, somehow she was a bit delighted she was getting a dream from the Ancestor's since she couldn't the last time she had one of those, or a vision for that matter. The last vision I had was they told me I couldn't be a Healer, I'm still mad about that! Making switch up my whole way of living! Stupid! They better have a good reason for doing that!

After some pondering, Snowfall realized she wasn't actually getting much activity from them in general for the past moon since she started her Warrior training. Is this because I stopped being a Healer? The silence and inactivity around her caused her thoughts to be too loud.

Hang on, when I was a Healer's Apprentice, what I was doing gave me more time to be still and listen. Is this why I haven't gotten anything? Or seen anything vision wise?

"That's partly true Snowfall." A soft whisper suddenly spoke to her echoing from the mist. Crap, I forgot Ancestor Wolves can hear my thoughts. Snowfall's ears pricked up and she saw the fog begin to clear out, finding she was in a small clearing surrounded by tall oaks and sycamores. The trees looked like those of the ones she had been seeing while patrolling around the Land of Roving Warriors. Only much larger and ancient.

A familiar scene began to unfold before her as a cloud of starry mist formed into a wolf. Specifically a female wolf with silver and black fur.

"Ahh, long time no see aye Snowfall?" Silver Fox spoke, widening her eyes.

Snowfall pouted her lip. "What do you mean long time no see? Aren't you in charge of sending me dreams and messages?"

Silver Fox sighed taking a step closer to her frowning. "Still got the Sorrel attitude I see."

"And what about it? I'm fine with Sorrel attitude!" Snowfall grunted plopping her behind onto the grass.

"Also gotten more sass since last time too." The Ancestor female pointed out. Snowfall snorted scrunching her nose.

"Why is it always you I get whenever a wolf sends me a message?" She blurted out and then regretted her words instantly after.

"I should be asking why I always have to send messages to you." Silver Fox frowned flicking her tail with irritation. "It wasn't that I asked to be your Spiritual Mentor-"

"Spiritual Mentor?" Snowfall cut her off.

"Yes."

"What in Starlight is that?"

Silver Fox sighed shaking her head. "Basically a wolf who is assigned by the Great Alpha's to be a sort of help to a living wolf in their journey of life, to send messages, give dreams, and offer guidance when needed. Every wolf has one. A helper if you call it. But only if the wolf is willing to listen." She stressed the last word and finished with an irritated sigh.

"You haven't been doing a very good job of that." Snowfall grumbled in retort.

Silver Fox's light amber eyes sharpened at Snowfall, clearly getting tired of going back and forth with the former Healer Apprentice.
