Strange things with him/Jonathan Byers

Chapter I

"Get up Y/n"Billy screamed as he bursted in my room.I rolled my eyes and pulled the sheets over my head.Billy was my bestfriend since we were little.He's almost everyday over at mine's since my parents went to Minnesota to visit my grandparents.I finally got up after some convincing and realizing that we have a pretty hard test first class.I threw on a white tank top and a long skirt.As I was getting my breakfast I heard Billy's honking outside."Gosh i'm coming" I screamed from the opened window and then finally got out.

After few hours I was currently sitting in a cafeteria with Robin,Nancy,Steve,Eddie and Jonathan.People like to call us the losers mainly because of Eddie since he's considered "a freak" or whatever."So this is the plan.Nancy you pick up Robin and Y/n and I'll pick up Jonathan and then we can go get Eddie"Steve said.Oh yeah there's a party tonight and honestly Steve is the only one who really wants to go but since we're his only friends we're basically in this as much as he is."Can't you pick Y/n up?She's way too far for me"Nancy said as I agreed.There was a moment of silence where everyone was thinking about the plan and what can we do."I can pick her up"Jonathan then said out of nowhere looking at me.We made eye contact and I quickly looked back down slowly blushing.It's no surprise why.I had a crush on Jonathan since we were little.The Byers family is only a few blocks away and usually Jonathan comes over when Will wants to hang out with my sister Max."Wait that's genius,I never thought of that."Steve said as we Robin rolled her eyes at him."So Nancy's coming with Robin,Steve is picking me up and Jonathan and Y/n?"Eddie asked as we all agreed and proceeded to talk about something else.

I came home about 2 hours ago and went to shower almost immediately.I took a pretty long shower and went through my wardrobe thinking about what could i potentially wear to a party.As i was looking through the clothes there was a knock on my door.I rushed downstairs and opened the door."Hey"a familiar voice said."oh hey"i said gulping."uh..um..is Will here by any chance?"Jonathan then said.I nodded as I gestured him to come inside the house.He sat on one of the chairs in the kitchen.I offered him something to drink and then went to one of the back rooms where Max and her friend group usually hang out."Hey guys" I said as they all looked at me.I looked around until my eyes finally catches Will's."Your brother's here"I pointed outside."Yeah can you tell him that i'm gonna be there in 5 minutes please?"He said and I nodded leaving them to whatever they were doing."Stop drooling over my sister Dustin"I heard Max say which made me giggle a little.I returned back to the kitchen and as his eyes catched mine my knees became weaker.There was just something about the way he looked at me."Will said that he'll be back in 5"I said and awkwardly smiled.There was a good few minutes of awkward silence between us until he said something."So..uh..us at a party?"He said giving me an awkward smile."Uh yeah"I laughed it off as Will finally came over.He got his stuff and they exited the house."About tonight,8PM sounds good?"Jonathan turned around asking me the question."Yeah sounds perfect."I said and soon after they left.

Finally after 2 hours of searching i found a orange long-bat sleeve blouse that was slightly open on the front and a pair of white flare jeans.I went over to my desk and decided to leave my hair down.I teased it a little bit and put on some regular basic makeup.Some lipstick,mascara,shimmery eyeshadow and i was ready."There are some pizza leftovers in the fridge if you're hungry.Agh also if Billy calls tell him that i'm not home"I said to Max and went outside.And there he was,leaning on his car looking at my direction.He was wearing light pants with a white shirt and a darker jacket on top.I think he looked pretty nice.He kept staring at me for a while until i coughed to get him back to his senses."Oh shi-sorry,um you look nice"He said scratching his jaw and then continuing."Um you ready?"Jonathan said as he opened the door for me.I nodded and we went into the night.

At the party we met with other people from the group and well almost immediately the boys went their way while me,Robin and Nancy were over at the island part in the kitchen talking."So you and Steve?"I said glancing over at Nancy.She looked over at his direction."Uh I don't know..I mean he's pretty cute but it just feels wrong."She said still looking at him."But anyways what about you and Jonathan?"She finally looked over at me."What?"I almost chocked on my drink as her and Robin started laughing."Oh cmon Y/n it's so obvious that he likes you"Robin said playfully hitting my shoulder."You really think so?"I asked now looking at him.They both nodded.I kept staring at him.He was beautiful.He was laughing with Steve while Eddie was making a joker out of himself.Out of nowhere he looked towards me and catched me staring.He smiled as I look away.Few minutes later we heard a loud noise coming from outside.We all rushed outside all to be greeted by a huge crowd of people all in circle hyped about something.Steve and Eddie got closer to the circle to see what was happening."Oh you gotta be shitting me"Steve said putting his hand over his mouth."What's he doing here?Did you call him?"Steve turned towards me obviously getting more furious."Dude calm down"Jonathan said as he got in the middle of us."Jonathan it's fine don't worry"I said grabbing his hand and stepping in front of him."Billy?"I finally said pointing at the crowd.Billy and Steve never really liked each other.Somehow when we were little Steve pushed me and I hit my head pretty badly and this stirred the things up between them."Y/n my sweet girl"Billy saw me and everyone looked at me.He was super drunk and all I cared about was to get him home.He was my bestfriend after all."Billy you're drunk let's go"I said while putting one of his arms over my shoulder.He pushed me away and I almost fell but Jonathan once again got me."It's fine don't worry"i said giving him a small smile.Billy finally decided to cooperate and I got him away from the crowd."Do you need a ride?"Nancy asked me."Ugh yeah if that's not a problem with you"I said grunting while trying to move Billy who now almost fell asleep on my thighs. "I'll give her a ride"Everyone glanced at Jonathan."The party's pretty boring anyways"He continued as he helped me get Billy up.I mouthed a small 'thank you' and we left. We put Billy in the back and me and Jonathan were in front."Y/n babe"Billy said out of nowhere now touching my hair from the behind.I laughed it off since I knew how drunk he is and quickly looked at Jonathan who had a straight face.His jaw clenched as he looked back at me and then back at the road.After few minutes of awkward silence we finally got to my house.Billy got out of the car and literally sprinted back to house.We looked at him sharing a small laugh."Thank you really"I said turning back to Jonathan."Oh don't worry about it".He said smiling.We stood there in complete silence."Anyways I should probably get going"He said."Yeah sure"I nodded.As he was about to get into his car i stopped him."Jonathan wait!"I ran back to him and gave him a little kiss on his cheek.I smiled and went back inside.From the corner of my eye I could definitely see him blushing.I locked the doors and went to check up on Max and Billy who were now in complete sleep.I smiled to myself and soon went to sleep too.
