Chapter XXIII

"Morning love"I heard Jonathan's morning voice.I turned around just to see him already staring at me with a small smile.He kissed my forehead and got up."Mom and Will are home today so don't forget to put the pants on"He laughed while pulling the shirt on top of his head.I looked quickly under the sheets.I saw my naked body,still aching as I was biting my lower lip at the thought of yesterday's night.Me and Jonathan we're at Steve's house.We all got pretty drunk and I decided to tease Jonathan.The whole night he kept looking at me and when we finally got to his house..well you know what happened there.I was currently exiting Jonathan's room only to be greeted by Will."Good morning Will"I whispered noticing that he was still rubbing his eyes from sleep."Good morning Y/n"He had a confused look on his face when he saw me but then quickly entered the bathroom."Goodmorning Mrs.Byers"I said looking at the woman that was sitting on the sofa staring at the TV while Jonathan was in the kitchen making some breakfast."Good morning honey and please call me Joyce,i feel old like that!Jonathan told me that about your study hour yesterday.Was it good?"She smiled looking back and forth between me and Jonathan."Y-yeah"Jonathan hardly said making me smile.After the breakfast was ready,we all sat down at the table and started eating."Will,sweetheart could you turn up the volume please?"Joyce said.Will got the remote as he turned the volume up."Seems like the Munson murders aren't stopping.Another student from Hawkins High was found dead last night on the St.Morris,near the trailer park."The reporter said as I quickly glanced at Jonathan who had a hand on his mouth looking at me in worry."When is this going to stop?You two don't know this Eddie right?"Joyce said looking at all of us."Uh..I just remembered I left the water running in bathroom..I'll be right back!"I gave a glare to Jonathan as I rushed to his room instead of the bathroom.Soon Jonathan joined."What are we going to do?"I whispered to him."They're going to kill him if they find him"My eyes were already watering.Jonathan pulled me into a hug as he placed a kiss on my head."Hey!Hey,we won't let them find him alright?Let's go finish our breakfast and then we can go to Eddie"Jonathan whispered back at me as I nodded and we went back to the table.After we had finished our breakfast,me and my boyfriend got inside his car and drove off to the cabin."I've already heard the news"Eddie said as soon as he saw us."I-I'm sorry Eddie"I said with a sad tone in my voice."It's fine.It's not like they're never going to find me"He said almost laughing."Don't say that!"I snapped at him."I won't let them find you Eddie!You could at least be grateful that we didn't rat your ass already!"I raised my voice at him as I exited the cabin."Y/n!"I heard Jonathan's voice calling behind me."What are you doing?"He said to me."I'm sorry.I just...It's a lot to process"A tear rolled off my cheek.He pulled me into a hug."Wait"I said still being inside his hug."The opening!"I pulled away as I started running through the woods."Y/n!Wait!"Jonathan started running behind me."Fuck you're fast!"Jonathan said panting as we finally got to his car."Trailer park!"I smiled as I kissed his cheek and got his car keys from his pocket.I drove us to the trailer park and to our surprise there was no one.We slowly got inside Eddie's trailer and it was still there.It was lot bigger."Holy fuck"Jonathan whispered being surprised at the size of the gate.It went from the small opening where barely your finger could slip in to a gate where you could definitely get inside.I was ready to enter when Jonathan pulled me back."What are you do-?"I got cut off."Are you out of your fucking mind?You could get hurt Y/n!" Jonathan raised his voice at me.I've never seen him like this.I liked it but I couldn't deny the fact that I was scared of this side of him."I-I'm sorry"Jonathan said once he noticed the fear in my eyes."I'm just trying to say that we need to get prepared for this.We don't know what to expect,okay?"He said with much calmer tone and a smile at the end.I nodded and we got back.
