Chapter XIV

Few days have passed since Jane went missing.My parents felt horrible because they weren't there.Max was scared and traumatized since she had to see all of it.And me?I had hope.I was scared too but I knew how strong Jane was and I knew that we would find her soon enough.I kept thinking about everything until I heard a knock on my bathroom door."Y/n?"I heard my mom's voice."Yeah I'm coming wait!"I turned off the water and wrapped a towel around my wet body.I changed quickly and exited the door."Are you alright darling?"My mom asked noticing that I was in shower a little too long.I nodded and sat on my bed laying down.My mom sat down too.I heard a little sniff as I immediately turned to look at my mom."Hey mom..everything's going to be okay.Jane's strong.She's going to get through this!"I said as I wrapped my arms around her giving her a hug.

I was on my bed with headphones on listening to some random song when someone bursted inside my room."Jonathan what the hell?!"I yelled scared."Sorry"He whispered.I took off my headphones and sat up."What are you doing here?"I asked gesturing him to sit next to me."I think I have a plan"He said quietly as he closed the door so no one could hear us."i'm all ears"i said as i sat more comfortably listening to him."What if we go inside the lab again?We could potentially get more informations on Vecna and Jane's whereabouts"Jonathan said looking at me.I shook my head scrunching my face,giving him a "i'm not so sure about that" face."Babe..I know it's dangerous and that we could get in a lot of trouble but it might work and we might actually stop this"He said sitting next to me pulling me closer to him."It sounds dangerous Jonathan"I said burying my head in his chest."I can't loose you too"I whispered closing my eyes."Babe,you won't loose me.We're in this together,okay?"He said cupping my face with his soft hands as he gave me a reassuring kiss.We both layed down listening to some music and talking about our theories."Imagine if Vecna is someone Jane knows and he takes someone she cares about as a revenge because she did something bad to him?"I said putting a chip inside my mouth laughing."I think this is my favorite theory by far"Jonathan laughed.That night I asked Jonathan to stay with me."When are we going to tell them about us?"Jonathan then suddenly asked me."Tell who?"I asked confusingly already knowing that our friends pretty much know everything about us."Our parents "He said as he turned to look at me."Oh..uh..i don't know.I just don't think it's a good timing now"I responded.He nodded as we got under the sheets.I layed down facing the wall while Jonathan had his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him every second he could.I quickly kissed him goodnight and went to sleep.
The next day my alarm woke us up."Cmon sleepyhead"I turned to look at Jonathan who was squeezing his eyes with his fingers."Fuck I forgot it was a school day"He said as he got up."Wait!"I stopped Jonathan from putting his shirt on.I went to one of my drawers and pulled out one of his shirts that I kept.It was a white t-shirt with pastel colored stripes."Here"I threw the shirt at him."You're the best"He gave me a quick kiss and put his shirt on as we made our way downstairs."Oh Jonathan I didn't even realize you had stayed the night yesterday"My mom laughed as she sipped from her cup."Oh yeah..it was pretty late"Jonathan said in a raspy voice."Anyways mom we have to go to school,see you later"I said as I pulled Jonathan's hand."Bye Mrs.Y/l/n" Jonathan quickly said as we got out."Cmon I'm driving"He said dangling his keys around his fingers.I scoffed and entered his car.
