Strange things with him/Jonathan Byers

Chapter II

A few days have passed since the last time I saw Jonathan.He wasn't coming to school for 3 days now and we're all starting to worry about him.It's another day just like every other.I got up,got some clothes and went downstairs."Hey Max"I said as I looked over at the red-haired girl with headphones in."Max!"I said a little bit louder.Nothing.I came over to her and opened the tape player."What the hell Y/n!??"Max got up putting her arms up in the air."Are you going to Will's later?"I asked hopping on one of the chairs next to her."Probably,why?"She said confused."Can you give this to Jonathan if you see him?"I handed her some type of a letter.I decided to write him a letter hopefully trying to get some answers for his behavior.Was he ignoring me?Did I do something? Millions of questions were rushing through my head as i was writing it.Max nodded and soon after I left for school.

"Nothing yet?"Robin asked referring to Jonathan's disappearance.I shook my head no and glanced over the spot he usually sits in.I didn't know how to feel.I have to admit that days without him were pretty boring and sad.

I got home and literally ran to Max's room.She didn't go to school today since her class is doing some type of a project."Did you do it?!?"I asked her."He wasn't there Y/n.I left it in his room though"She said giving me a sympathetic smile.I nodded obviously disappointed at the response.I went back to my room and immediately started crying.Where was he?

A few hours have passed and I called Robin and Nancy over.I opened the door as soon as I heard the car pulling in the driveway and we went upstairs to my room.I told them about the letter and the fact that he still didn't return home."I'm just really scared for him guys"I said putting my head into my palms trying so hard not to burst into tears."I have an idea"Robin said getting up and going downstairs.Me and Nancy looked at each other confused and followed her.Robin picked up the phone that was attached to the kitchen wall and called a few numbers."Who was that?"Nancy asked."Steve and Eddie"Robin said.Nancy immediately smiled and looked at us.It was so obvious that she liked him even though she wouldn't accept the truth.Few minutes later the guys showed up and all five of us went to my room and decided to proceed with Robin's plan.Max joined us too."This is just super strange for him to just not show up.I feel like something bad is happening so I thought maybe we could go search for him?"Robin said squinting her face at the last few words."I mean i'm in"Eddie said putting his hand in the middle."Me too"Steve said putting his hand on top of Eddie's.Nancy followed.Max too."Young lady you're not going anywhere!"I said looking at Max."Cmon Y/n she's 15 not 10,we could totally use some help"Robin said looking at me.I looked over at Max who was looking at me with puppy eyes."Ugh fine"I rolled my eyes putting my hand on top of Max's.

We grabbed everything we could including some water bottles,lights and a small pocket knife for safety reasons.As soon as we entered the wooded area we decided to split into smaller groups."Okay so Robin's going with Nancy,Steve with Max and Eddie's with me,is that okay for everyone?"I said."What?!?I'm not babysitting again!"Steve protested."Oh shut up Steve,you're literally 3 years older than me"Max said rolling her eyes."She's got a good point though"Steve shrugged his shoulders and we went our ways.

"So you and Jonathan?"Eddie asked me in the middle of searching."Uh..no..we're not together"I said blushing."Only love makes you this crazy dear"Eddie said as he continued his way in front of me.I slowed down thinking about what he just said."Jonathan!!"I heard Nancy screaming which was followed by Steve's screaming."Cmon Jonathan I can't loose you"I mouthed quietly so no one can hear me.As we went deeper into woods we started seeing some lights.We had really high hopes but as we got closer we realized it's cops.Everything would have been fine if they didn't have the curfew to the whole town.10PM and you better be locked in the house since there was a serial killer on loose called Victor,Victor Creel.I looked at my watch and saw it's 11:14 PM."Guys when I tell you to run,you run okay?"Steve whispered to all of us.He looked around for few seconds and then.."RUN!!"Steve screamed and with all energy I had we ran back to my house without getting caught.

"Shit that was scary"Max said panting."I think I should head back home anyways"Nancy said."I'll give you a ride"Steve said looking at her.Those words reminded me of Jonathan and that day.The day I kissed his cheek and him smiling and blushing like a little kid.After few minutes they all left and Max went to bed.I went to my room and got changed.I looked outside the window just thinking.Where were you Jonathan?"
