Strange things with him/Jonathan Byers

Chapter III

The next day I woke up late.I was crying the whole night so now wonder why.I got on a white knitted sweater and a brown skirt.Instead of going immediately downstairs,I went to Max's room to wake her up.I knocked on the door and to my surprise she was already up.But she wasn't alone.She was sitting on her bed talking to Billy."Billy?What are you doing here this early?"I asked him."I wanted to check to see if you're okay"Billy said."Max told me about Jonathan,i'm sorry Y/n"Billy continued."No stop,you all are acting like he's dead.He's gonna come back!"I said frustrated,storming out of her room and going downstairs to grab a glass of water.After a few minutes both of them came downstairs."Look i'm sorry I didn't mean to yell like that,i'm just really exhausted"I said.

I entered the school.The halls were pretty much empty since everyone was having their classes.I knocked on the door and entered."Good morning Mrs.Gracie,I-"I was talking till i was stopped by a pair of eyes.It was him.It was Jonathan.He was sitting at his desk playing with a pencil."Miss Y/l/n?"Mrs.Gracie looked at me confused."Please take your seat"She said and I nodded sitting next to Jonathan."Psst"I whispered to him.He looked at me with those gentle eyes."Where have you been?"I asked."I-..um..Can we actually talk later?"He whispered.I nodded and got back to what Mrs.Gracie was talking about.

I was sitting at the table with Robin,Nancy,Eddie and Steve."He was just acting really weird the whole time.It's almost like it's not him"I finished talking to them."There he is"Steve said pointing at the door.I looked over and he was there with a tray in his hands.As soon as he noticed us he came over."Dude where the fuck were you?"Steve said hitting Jonathan's arm.Jonathan just shrugged it off.It's almost like he didn't wanna talk about it.He kept ignoring most of the questions that others were asking him."You could have-..."Nancy started."Y/n can I talk to you real quick?"Jonathan said cutting completely Nancy off."Uh yeah sure"I said getting up.

"What's up?"I asked Jonathan once we got outside the cafeteria."It was so scary Y/n.They we're literally torturing everyone and I-"He started getting nervous."Woah slow down..what are you talking about?"I asked him confused."The day I left you at your house.Once I got home I got my camera and went outside to the woods.I just wanted to take some pictures and then go home but there was this type of a bunker in the middle of the ground.I don't know why but I got inside and it was horrible Y/n.They had people all over the rooms and all you could hear were screams.I think someone saw me and I got scared and ran back home.But i couldn't stop thinking about it so I kept going there everyday hoping to get some pictures."Jonathan said looking at me nervous about what will I respond to this."You don't believe me do you?"He added."Woah..that's a lot to process but yes of course I trust you Jonathan"I said pulling him into a bear hug.He rested his head on my shoulder and just closed his eyes."Come to the developing room after Biology,I need to show you something"He said once we pulled away.I nodded and we headed back to others.

After Biology class I headed to developing room that was right around the corner.It was a small red room where students who are into photography could develop their work."Jesus y/n,close the door!!"Jonathan yelled since I scared him.I closed the door and got closer to him."Look"He showed me one of the pictures.It was really dark so you couldn't see much but you could definitely see some type of a door."Look at this one"He handed me another picture.It was a picture of two men dressed in black with hoods on that were carrying another person dressed in white.It almost looked like a cult ritual."Why don't you go to police?"I asked him."Cmon Y/n you know the police won't do shit"Jonathan said rolling his eyes."Are you going to tell the others?"I asked him another question."I mean I was thinking about doing it,I just don't know if they will trust me"He said taking the pictures and putting them into his bag."Of course they will Jonathan,especially with proof they don't have other choice"I said.He kept staring at me as I was talking.There was a silence.We just kept staring into each other."Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?"He then said.That left me speechless."Jonathan I-"I just wanted him to kiss me.He got closer and closer to me.I could feel his hot breath on my skin.As i was about to reach for him we got interrupted by a knock on the door."Fuck"I heard Jonathan mutter.Really?Right now?I reached for the door and none other than Steve was there."Oh did I interrupt something?"He said smiling at Jonathan."Um..no,we actually wanted to tell you guys something."I said looking back at Jonathan and then at Steve.Jonathan had an annoyed look on his face while Steve had a huge smirk.

We all gathered inside Eddie's van as Jonathan started talking.He told them the whole story showing them the pictures too."What the fuck"Eddie said clearly scared."That's definitely some type of a cult"Robin added."We should definitely go check that out"Steve said as all of us mouthed a big 'no'."Pussies"Steve said"Look guys let's just all go home and we'll think about this tomorrow"Nancy said and we all agreed.

"Need a ride?"Jonathan asked me."Actually I think i'm gonna go for a walk"I said confidently."You really think i'm gonna let you walk on your own with this crazy thing happening?"Jonathan looked me dead in the eyes."Get in the car Y/n"He added laughing.I got in the front seat.It was about a 15 minute ride."So about today?"I looked at him."What about today?"He looked at me acting like he doesn't know what was i talking about."All the 'did i ever tell you how beautiful you are" thing?"I mimicked his voice.He looked at me,then my lips and then back at the road without saying anything.We just stayed in silence like that the whole ride.

"Thanks for the ride"I said closing the door of his car."Wait!"Jonathan said in a calmer voice.I looked at him and he pointed at the seat where i was sitting previously.I sat back down and turned to look at him.He stared at me,mostly at my lips."Fuck this"Jonathan groaned and pulled me into a kiss.His hands went straight to the sides of my head as he deepened the kiss.His lips felt like the softest thing ever.A few seconds in we both pulled away."I'm sorry Y/n..I-..I got carried away.."Jonathan said nervously.I kissed him back almost immediately.I just couldn't resist to him."Thanks for the ride Jonathan"I said laughing at his shocked expression on his face."And also for this"I gave him another peck on the lips and went back inside the house smiling like a kid.
