Chapter VIII

A few months have passed since Eleven came into our lives.My parents came back home and well even though me and Max got into trouble for letting a stranger sleep in our house,we all agreed to consider her as a part of the family.She even thought about changing her name into something like Jane since Eleven is kinda weird and confusing.Anyways Nancy and Steve got together.They're that type of a couple.Very quirky.Max doesn't want to admit it but i'm pretty sure something's happening between her and Lucas too.Talking about me and Jonathan well..It's going pretty good i guess.We never really made things official or told anybody anything that happened between us but i mean it's kinda obvious that there is something happening.Anyways it's sunday night and I just finished watching a movie at Nancy's.She told me that Steve was on her way to her house so I decided to leave a little bit earlier since I'm not trying to third wheel and see them fuck.I made my way outside after saying goodbye to Mr. and Mrs.Wheeler.I was walking down the dark road when i realized i have left my jacket at Nancy's house.I quickly looked at the watch on my left hand and turned back to go grab it.Right as I was about to knock on the door I heard something coming from the bushes near the house.I looked over and saw a figure.I took a better look and at the moment it felt like looking at someone I know."Jonathan?"I whispered as I tried to get a little bit closer.But as I was walking towards the bushes,the figure just disappeared.I got confused for a second but then I thought that it was probably some animal or something like that.I shook it off and knocked on the door.I grabbed the jacket and made my way back to my house."Y/n,are you home?"I heard my mom's voice as I left my jacket on the coat hanger near the door."Yeah,it's me"I said as I walked past the living room and went upstairs.It was really hot in my room so I decided to leave a window open to get some air.As I was opening the window I noticed a small stain on my shirt so i took it off leaving me in my bra and jeans.I put the dirty shirt in the laundry basket and just changed into my pjs.

The next day I woke up and got ready for school.I put on some denim jeans and a blue blouse.I decided to keep my hair up and do minimal makeup.I got to Max's room and told her to get ready since i was driving us.I got downstairs,took some breakfast and started the car waiting for Max.After about 5 minutes she came outside and got inside the car."What took you so long?"I said while looking back at the back window as I was getting off the driveway."I..um..forgot a project"She said smiling.I nodded acting like I don't know that it was probably something for Lucas.Once we got to school,we waved each other goodbye and she left.I saw Eddie and Robin outside one of the classrooms as I came closer to them."Hey,where are the others?"I asked them."Um..I guess something bad happened because they were all really moody and angry this morning "Eddie said pointing outside the school.I scoffed as I made my way outside.I saw Steve,Nancy,Jonathan and some other people.Steve had Jonathan's camera in his hands waving it around while yelling at Jonathan.Nancy just stood there in middle while Jonathan was yelling back at Steve."Woah guys what's happening?"I asked as soon as I got closer to them."Your little boyfriend here is what's happening "Steve said as he looked at Jonathan disgustingly."Jonathan what happened?"I asked turning around to look at Jonathan who didn't look happy."He keeps accusing me of something I didn't do!"Jonathan said that a little too loud."So you didn't take pictures of me and Nancy while having sex?"Steve said.."Oh and Y/n naked?"Steve added as he turned to look at me."What?"I hardly said it looking at Jonathan with sad eyes."Please tell me you didn't do it"I said to Jonathan,tears already forming in my eyes."Y/n I swear I didn't do it on purpose.You have to believe me"Jonathan said."You really wanna believe this pervert?"Steve asked me.I looked at Nancy who just kept staring at the ground.I looked at Jonathan for the last time,turned around and went to my car.Once I got there I immediately started crying.How could he do that?What was he thinking?Does he like Nancy?I put my head in my hands and sobbed for good 20 minutes.I didn't feel like talking to anyone right now.I calmed myself down after a few minutes and exited the car making my way back to my class like nothing happened.As soon as I entered the class,the first person i made eye contact with was of course Jonathan.I looked at him with disgust.It wasn't the fact that he could never disgust me but what he did.He looked back at me with sad,red eyes,like he was crying too.I felt broken and betrayed.I spent the rest of the day without talking to anyone.I found Max and we made our way to my car."Y/n wait!"I heard Jonathan's voice."What do you want Jonathan?"I asked him rolling my eyes."I need you to listen and believe me,please y/n?"Jonathan begged."I'll think about it"I said emotionless as I sat in my car and drove away.I looked at the mirror and saw him staying behind,looking back at me leaving.
