Hey guyssss how are yall doing? Just wanted to let you know the next few chapters, like the previous few, will be dumps of information but I have to clear up a lot of things to make this and Shannon's books make sense. STICK WITH ME OKAY? If you're confused just ask. wow, now I sound like a teacher. ANYWAY enjoyyyyy :)
"IT'S WEDNESDAYYYYY! SOPH WAKE UP, WE HAVE TO GET READY FOR THE BALL!" Dalphina screamed in her ear.
Sophie groaned as she opened her eyes, only to get whacked with a pillow. Dalphina was standing above her holding the pillow up triumphantly, and another mass of white fluff collided with her face.
"I'm up, I'm up. Gosh, Dalphina." Sophie murmured.
Dalphina reminded her of Biana, with the enthusiasm for shopping, make-up and all.
At the thought of her old friend Sophie went silent with a sullen expression on her face. No matter how many times Sophie tried to push it away, her old life still came back to haunt her. Dalphina understood and always waited patiently for Sophie to snap back into reality. For that, Sophie was very thankful.
She made her way in front of the mirror and a face popped into the top right corner.
"Sophie! Your hair is a bird's nest!" Vertina exclaimed.
When Sophie walked in front of the mirror the day after she had arrived at the base, Vertina appeared. Sophie almost had a heart attack. She didn't know how the mirror had gotten there and Dalphina and Vertina seemed to have formed a cause dedicated to not telling her how the mirror had gotten there. Sophie gave up eventually.
She drank a hair elixir and her hair instantly became voluminous and silky. The Neverseen had everything from elixirs to lush berry juice despite them being a rebel group. Sophie was grateful and didn't question it.
There was a series of knocks on the door followed by Alvar's voice.
" WHAT'S THE COMMOTION? DEX, RUY OTHER PEOPLE, AND I ARE TRYING TO SLEEP. OUR ROOM IS RIGHT NEXT TO YOURS REMEMBER? SOPHIE I FEEL BAD FOR YOU IF DALPHINA IS BUGGING YOU ABOUT THE BALL BUT SHUT UP PLEASE," he hollered through the closed door, before walking away.
Sophie stared at Dalphina.
"Dex, Ruy, and Alvar's room is next door? How did I not know that?!"
Sophie still remembered when she found out Alvar was still with the Neverseen and very well.
(Flashback)
Sophie and Dalphina were hanging out in their room when Alvar barged in.
"DALPHINA why-," He noticed Sophie in the room and paused in his steps. "Oh hi, Sophie."
Sophie was surprised but somehow was used to the surprise by now.
"How are you here- How are you even well?"
Alvar scratched the back of his neck. His face was flawless, leaving no trace that scars even had been there. He looked very well like he hadn't even been weakened by the troll goo. Maybe he was just faking it. Sophie no longer believed anything from her past.
Alvar scratched the back of his neck.
"After I lightleaped to a random location I lightleaped again to the Neverseen base. When I said I was dying after being in the troll goo it was real but you probably know that the Neverseen has amazing physicians and they cured me and healed my scars. That's how everyone don't really have any scars.
I was at Candleshade because I was looking for something of Lady Gisela's. That information I gave you was real though." He explained.
Sophie made a face.
"You people are so complicated."
Glimmer wrapped her arm around Sophie's shoulder.
"You're one of us now."
(Flashback end)
"Hang on, number one how did Alvar know you were bugging me about the ball?"
"I used to drag the boys out of their room to get them ready too," Dalphina said nonchalantly.
"Okay... and number two, DALPHINA IS FRICKIN' 7 IN THE MORNING WHY ARE WE AWAKE THE BALL STARTS AT 6PM."
Dalphina threw her hands up in exasperation and did not provide an explanation before dragging Sophie to the chair in front of her desk.
Hii guys i just changed the time of the ball nothing much.
