DELILAH MOORE . . . had always been very close with the Fishers. She waited everyday to go to Cousins Beach. She looked forward to it every year. But this Summer was different. Something about her, and the others had changed this year, in many ways.
She had known the Fishers, and the Conklins for her whole life. Susannah, Laurel, and Kayla grew up together. They wanted their children to do the same. She knew that Belly had a crush on Conrad, but she never knew how serious it was. Delilah had never really felt that way for either Jeremiah, or Conrad.
Delilah only saw them as best friends, nothing more. But, everything about that had changed this summer. This summer quite frankly was, the summer she turned pretty.
