EVERY SINGLE BIRTHDAY I've ever had has been in the beach house. Every year, my mom makes chocolate chip waffles with the same waffle maker she's had forever, and Belly has Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes. But, me and Belly always celebrate our birthday the same exact day. On her Birthday. I never thought it was fair that we both celebrated our Birthday at the same time, but I guess it's fair. Because I celebrate my own birthday at home, it's technically like having two birthdays . On the day we celebrate, everyone gets a present for me, and a present for Belly.
Today was that day. The day we celebrated for real.
I woke up at 7, so I had time to get ready. I had planned out exactly what I was going to wear on the celebration day. I brought a cute pair of jean shorts and a billabong tee shirt. I crept around the room, trying not to wake Belly up.
As I was walking to the bathroom to get ready, I bumped into someone.
"Jesus Christ." Conrad whispered, rubbing his eye. He opened his eyes, and looked at me.
"Sorry." I apologized.
"Morning, Birthday girl." He said with a smile on his face. A smile started to form on my face as well. We both stood there, staring at each other, for like 15 seconds. I looked down, and realized I had started blushing. What the fuck?
"Why are you up already? You normally wake up when the day is like half over. Plus, it's not even my birthday." I said, trying to change the subject. I looked down at the floor realizing I had already said too much. "Sorry, anyway!" I said awkwardly, trying to fake laugh. "Uh, were you going in to the bathroom? I'll wait."
"Oh no, go ahead, it is your birthday anyway." He said. I walked into the bathroom, and once I couldn't hear his footsteps anymore, I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

Once I finished getting changed, and doing my hair and makeup, I walked downstairs and into the living room. I was surprised to see that all the boys were up, but no one else was.
"Look who's awake!" Jeremiah yelled out running up to me.
"Why the hell are you guys awake?" I asked, confused because it was really early. He hugged me while I was still talking, but I was still so tired I couldn't even hug him back. I pushed him off me so I could go into the kitchen.
"So, what are your plans for today?" Luke asked, sitting on one of the stools and crossing his arms.
"That's not your business." I snapped.
"Uh, yeah. It is. Your my little sister. If your out doing drugs, I should know." He said, sarcastically.
"Well too bad, because I'm not." I assured him. "I'm actually going to pick up Sarah." Sarah has been my best friend since I was 7. She's been coming to the beach house every summer, she's like family to me. Just like I have Sarah, Belly has Taylor. Me and Taylor have always gotten along. It's rare, though, that she actually likes another one of Belly's friends. Taylor and Sarah get along well too, but they aren't as close.
"That's actually what I was gonna ask, who's car can I drive?" My mom still hasn't agreed to buying me a car. I'm not sure why. I get my license in a couple weeks. She just doesn't wanna buy me one.
"You for sure aren't driving my car." Jeremiah said walking into the kitchen. He leaned against the kitchen counter. "Just wait until everyone else is awake. I'm sure my mom will let you drive her car."

After about an hour, everyone was downstairs. They all greeted me and Belly with hugs and birthday wishes. Neither me or Belly were hungry,so we skipped out on breakfast and went straight to opening presents.
