Lily's POV
Beep beep beep beep! I roll over in bed so I can turn off my alarm clock and to get dressed. I sit up and look for my phone. Once I found it I looked to see who texted me last night. I had one text from Max, one text from Jesse, one text from Tristen, and 20 for Crystal (Crystal is Jessie's mom). I checked the ones from Crystal they all were to get me to wake up so I wasn't late. The one from max said that we can text during are game (which starts as soon as we get to school) so I texted him back thx, Jessie asked if I was going over for breakfast so I said I'll be over in 10. And Tristan said good morning and say hi to your parents. And when I read that I started to tear up, so I ran down stairs, out the door, and to Jessie's house (they live next door) to find them all eating breakfast, but Jessie because as soon as he heard me running he knew I needed a hug. So when I got in the house him and his family (Crystal, Sarah, and Dave) all came to the living room so we could talk. They asked why I was crying and I said Tristan brought up my family, and Sarah said " Lily your going to have to tell them what happened sooner or later" "and I chose later" and Jessie told me to go up stairs and change (she is always over so in Jessie's room she ha her own dresser filled with clothes.) "ok".

Jessie's POV

I wonder where Lily is, I thought to myself. So I went to her house to find her getting beaten by her brother with a belt and her father and mother dead. I was so angry I wanted to kill Adam (Lily's brother) but I couldn't move at all and I had to watch my best friend get beaten.

I woke up with a cold sweat and tears running down my face. So I got up showered, got dressed and went down stairs to breakfast. When I got there I asked "hey mom um I was wondering for Lily's birthday can we um maybe," then I got interrupted, because I heard Lily crying so I got up, and went to the door, and wait for her because I know why she's crying, because Tristan asked me how her parents we're because she didn't answer him. She comes in and we cuddled like siblings on the couch, a little while late the rest of my family came in to talk to Lily. Then Sarah says " Lily you have to tell them sooner or later" and said "I chose later". Then I told her to go up stairs to get changed.

Lily's POV
After after I got dressed and went downstairs to breakfast. After breakfast me and Jessie went to school. As soon as we hit school grounds me and Jessie look at each other and he said game on. When I got to my locker I saw max and Tristan were staring at each other and they looked so bored not talking I was laughing my ass off. I looked at max an got lost in his dreamy eyes until he snapped his fingers in my face. And I giggled and started to blush because he catch me staring at him. And I looked around the hall to see it was just me and him in it and he then handed me a folded piece of paper. And leaned down and whispered in my ear "please don't tell the boys I broke the silence already, but I want to tell you that you look really pretty today." And I started blushing like crazy, and he stood back up and walked to class.

Max's POV
She looked so pretty today. So when I catch her staring at me I started to blush. So I got her attention and bent down and whispered in her ear "please don't tell the boys I broke the silence already, but I want to tell you that you look really pretty today." And she started blushing and I wanted to kiss her but I didn't, I stood up and walked to class while thinking about her.
