A cold breeze drew me out of my surprise. How dare he tell me what my future holds! Who does he think he is?! Who knows how long I was standing there. Closing the door, I turned to walk in the kitchen seeing that Jess' family had already served themselves and currently sat at the dining table which looked like it could seat about fifty people including children.

I walked to the cabinet and pulled out three tall crystal glasses and poured water half way and carefully arranged them in my hands so they wouldn't fall and carried them to the guest.

Setting them down, one for each of the guests than walking to my seat and sitting. Everything seemed to be going in slow-motion, everything just in order and formal. Silverware began to klick against the spaghetti filled plates and conversation began to come alive.

Everyone talking about all random things. I decided the smart thing to do was to block them out; unfortunately I was wrong.

"Shea darling?" My mother asks, snapping my attention to her. She sat at the left of my father, across the table, my father being at the head of the table; Beside my mother was Jess and across from my mom was Jess' dad, beside him was his wife who was in front of Jess. Beside Jess was my brother who was sitting across Jake who was sitting next to me. And everyone on my left...Realizing that I hadn't heard her speak to me and everyone staring in wonder of what could be keeping me from the rapid changing conversations. I clear my throat.

"I'm sorry mother, I was just lost in thought." I lied, glancing at Jake who was seated to my left giving me a half smile, showing only one of his breathless dimples as his hands come up and clasp each other at his plumpy lips, trying to hide his grin while putting both elbows on the sides of his plate as they support his muscular arms. Squinting my eyes at him, what's he up to?

"What were you thinking about?" Someone says but I can't break away from Jake's stare. His skin matching Jess' chocolate cream skin, his hair thick with a wave frame his handsome manly face. His jaw line narrow with a perfectly round chin. His thick eye brows match his long thick black eyelashes. His nose straight and suit him well, lips plump with a breathtaking smile that showed perfectly shaped, purl white teeth. Yes he was dreamy, a picture of perfection! But I wasn't attracted to him. He was handsome but I wasn't like all those other girls from the city who just fall at his feet.

We live in the city but in the forest to. Well the city is surrounding the forest. The forest is big enough to where we can't hear the the city sounds but also small enough to where it looks like a park in the middle of the city and our house is right in the middle. It's kinda weird but I like it. People from the city come and camp during the summer, which is also pretty awesome because that how I make new friends!

Someone clears they'r throat and I look at who it was. Jezreal giving me a sharp glare. I turn my attention to my mother once again.

"I'm sorry what?" I say feeling stupid and rude for not listening.

"What were you thinking about just now?" She repeats with a soft smile and everyone still staring at me. At this time I decide to bring up the teacher thing.

"I was just wondering why the teachers were acting so weird today. I mean I know they all knew about us leaving but they were taking it to far." I say with a confused expression as I look at my hands that were now in my lap.

"How were they acting?" Mother asks.

I look up to see everyone intensely staring me down. The breathing in the room seem to stop as all eyes were on me and only the sound of the grandfather clock was all.
