Chapter 23: Two Alphas, One Womb

I woke up to an odd scent and without thinking it through I rushed out of the small clinic room not caring if someone was following me. I seen a young girl being pushed on her back and a man stepping up to her with every intention of hurting her so I shifted into my true from with my wings and white cheetah pattern. I've read that the humans call my true form "the beast" because it's a mixture of several things.

Reaching the attacker, I launch for him. In the process of pouncing on him I niche his throat and take out his heart as his back hits the ground. I smash his exposed heart as I get off the corpse. I make eye contact with the victim, the girl, who had pretty blonde hair with a great smile, and wide greenish eyes.

I had forgotten that I was pregnant with two boys until her gaze moved to my oversized belly. Her mouth open as I shifted back, "Ah, sorry about that. I'm Luna Shea." I extend my hand to help her up. Though she hesitantly takes it, her curiosity kills the cat, "Um, how did you know where I was and that I needed help, Luna? And why did you kill him if you are a Luna?" She asked being that I looked like I couldn't even move fast enough to kill someone and that I would actually kill somebody especially in my condition.

"Well I am about to be a mother. I guess being a queen, a mother, and a Luna made me react the way I did. Also that awful rouge smell had me gagging. What is your name, child and where are your from? Tell me your story as we head back, my mate is probably worried sick about me" I laughed as I motion her towards the direction of our pack and I lean on her arm that she offered.

"Well, um, my name is Sage. I heard about my brothers death and I wanted to see if I can help out with the pack until it becomes stable again. I didn't know much about my brother but the times I met him, he was nice and welcomed me as his blood sister. I'm not from that pack though. My pack was taken over by a rouge named Blu whom I found out that he also took my brothers pack and was finally dead. I'm a bastard child from another pack. Since Blu is dead, the remaining of my pack has either joined my brothers pack hoping that I'd take over or joined others packs."

I nodded, "And what was your brothers name?" I asked having an idea of who it might've been.

"Jezreal Sanders. My name is Sage Sanders. Our father kept me a secret even from my own pack and took that to his grave. But my mother knew who's I belonged to and raised me well enough not to be greedy and forcefully take the Alpha title if anything like this should happen."

"Mmm" was my only response. I stopped in the middle of the meadow of our pack property. In plane sight of the pack. I faced her and clasped both her hands in mine, I licked my lips, "Your brother was forced by Blu to rape me and now I not only carry my mates son but your brothers son also." I held her surprised gaze until she broke it with several blinks.

"Um" she clears her throat as she looks down. I'm guessing at my belly. I can see her mind at work. "I'm sorry, I'm just so speechless. There's two Alphas in one womb. I didn't know I was expecting a nephew!" She released her hands and placed her palms on my belly just when one of them kicked. "I mean TWO nephews!" She laughed as she looked at me again. A tear ran down her cheek as she sniffed a little, "Ah, I'll watch the pack until he's old enough to claim the title!" She proclaimed just what I and Zion were worried about and hoping would happen.

I exhaled my relief and sent her a smile. "Thank you. Zion and I were worried about the future of our sons pack." Just as I finished my gratitude to her, Zion and what looked like all of both packs came carving after us.
