"The Stephen Strange Museum." I read, and then, "The Stephen Strange Memorial."
"We'll that's not good." America whispered.
"Wonderful, so I'm dead on this world." Stephen was not having a good time of things, and it was evident in his tone of voice.

Then the doors to the Sanctum opened, and out walked a man I'd never seen.
"Oh shit." Strange muttered, eyes narrowing in on the man.
"You know him?" America Asked.
"Yeah, Mordo." Strange replied, "He's actually the first guy who let me into Kamar-Taj."
"Oh great!"
"And then he snapped, and dedicated his life to trying to kill me."
"Oh." America sounded quiet disappointed.
"Not so great then." I chirped.
Mordo walked slowly towards us, as if purely for the purpose of dramatic affect.
I raised my hands and golden tendrils of light swirled in my firsts. I was ready to fight if he showed any sign of doing the same.
"I always suspected this day would come." Mordo said darkly.
"You did?" Strange asked.
"Yes, Because you always suspected this day would come."
I braced myself for a full on showdown but to much relief the man embraced Stephen.
"Brother." He sighed heartily, "How long it has been. Come, come in. We have much to discuss. "
"We'll that's a relief." I said.
Stephen shrugged, "You go on red.

Inside the sanctum Mordo served us tea and listened to our story.
He seemed particularly interested in me which kinda made me uncomfortable but I figured he'd just never seen a mutant with powers like mine.
"It's miraculous really, you created your own energy, brought yourself back to life in your reality, and managed to find your way to other people with powers. If I'm not mistaken you should be able to use all types of magic."
"I mean I guess but so far I've only ever used my own. But...well someone once told me that with the proper training I'd be able to all sorts of magic, sorcery too."
I though back to my brief training with Agatha.
"Fascinating." Mordo said before turning his attention to America.
"And if I'm not mistaken your quiet formidable yourself. A Multieversal Traveler. Well thank the  stars you brought Doctor Strange to Saftey."
"Just cause we jumped ship doesn't mean we're safe." Stephen admitted, "Our Wanda has the ability to conjure demons and monsters to attack America in other universes. And now that she's witnessed Lorna's power I fear she might also try to take that for herself."
Mordo sighed, "So she has the darkhold?"
"Wait you know about there darkhold?" I questioned.
"Oh yes. We have a darkhold in this universe too. I guard it here in this sanctum. We would never risk a weapon that dangerous falling into the wrong hands."
"Damn right." Strange muttered.
"But if your darkhold is anything like ours, I'm afraid Wanda will be able to do far worse than just summon monsters to come after you."
"What do you mean?" America asked him while sipping her tea.
"There is a spell contained within those pages," Mordo explained, "corrosive to the soul, a desecration of reality itself. Dreamwalking..."
As he said the words a gust of wind blew through the room and blew out all the candles giving us light.
"A Dreamwalking sorcerer projects their own consciousness from their universe into another, possessing the body of an alternative self. They may puppeteer this unholy doppelgänger and pursue their enemies from afar. Their possession is not a permanent link between realities. But in the fleeting time they dreamwalk, they can do irreparable damage to the universe they invade. So it may not be a demon that you face. It may be the Scarlet witch."
I suddenly felt quiet ill, almost nauses.
"Why didn't she do that to begin with?" I asked fighting the bile rising in my throat.
"Because that was her being reasonable." Stephen sighed.
I gnawed anxiously at my lip, if that was my mothers idea of mercy then I'd hate to see what she'd do when she was really pissed of. And if I was guessing correctly, she was already far past that.

"What do you know about the book of Vishanti." Strange interrupted my thoughts with his question to Mordo.
"The darkhold's antithesis? It can give a sorcerer whatever power the need to vanquish their enemy."
Strange stood and wavered, suddenly I felt sick again, but not in the same way as before.
"Do you...fell that?" I asked America as drowsiness overcame me.
"I'm sorry Stephen..." I heard Mordo say. "But I hope you, of all people understand that is not Wanda Maximoff who threatens our reality, it's the three of you."
My cup slipped from my fingers and smashed on the floor. I fought the dizziness for as long as I could, but as America slumped in her chair and Stephen fell to the floor, I too was awash in darkness...

When I woke up my head was pounding, opening my eyes hurt as everything was so bright.
"America...Stephen..." I called for them, moments later I received their grumbles.
When my eyes opened fully and looked around I didn't recognize my surroundings. I seemed to be in some kind of glass prison. America and Strange where in opposite cells on either side of me and I stumbled to get up.
"Where are we?" I asked looking around the technological room. Like most things in this reality everything seemed so advanced and new.
"I don't know." America, who was up at that point began banging in the glass.
"Hey! Hey let us out."
Stephen came too and groaned as he got up.
"This universe sucks." America exclaimed.
I tried to us my powers but nothing happened, Stephen and I had some sort of power dampening cuffs on.
"Agreed."
Strange also tried and failed to use magic.
"Hey," he tapped on the glass, "Hey lab coat. Where the hell are we?" No response, "Look I don't know who you are or what you think your trying to do here, but these situations don't usually work out well for the nameless scientists, so just..." he stopped dead in his tracks.
The person in the lab coat turned around and my mouth fell open. It was the same woman from Stephen's memory, the same woman he'd pined over in multiple universes...it was Christine.
"Christine?" He asked breathlessly.
"Hello Stephen."
I gaped at America, clearly she was just as surprised to see her. "Ay dios."
"Miss Chavez," she greeted, "And miss Maximoff, if I'm not mistaken we put extra protections in place for you."
I glared at her, "you mean these fancy cuffs, ya I notice."
"Among other things." She said. I squinted at her, Stephen really needed to pick better women.
"Christine," Stephen demanded, "What is this?"
She surveyed him, "to answer your question you are in a highly secured reseda facility. The three of you, along with you sentient cloak, are here for surveillance and testing."
"Testing?" I asked going rigid.
"Well, yes. Your visitors from another universe. Your magnetic signatures could be radioactive, you may be carrying diseases we just don't have treatments for. Hence these amazing polycarbonate fish bowls."
I eyed the glass around us and noticed that mine seemed to be made out of a thicker glass than the others. I knew I was powerful, but surely not anymore so than America or strange?
"I developed the cuffs out of the sands of Nisanti." Christine explained, "838 Stephen's magical relics."
"838 Stephen." He spoke in disbelief, "you named the universes."
"Yes," she said, "that's our universe, and yours is 616."
"So you know a lot about the Multiverse then. If you've got someone going around naming the different realities.
"Yes," Christine said plainly, "Me."
"I'm a senior fellow with the Baxter Foundation, and I specialize in Multiversal research."
I grumbled, of course Stephens other world girlfriend was the one imprisoning us.
"So how'd you end up working here?" Stephen asked her. "Wherever here is."
"I volunteered." She relied, "at your funeral."
"His what." America mouthed to me.
Christine and Stephen continued speaking as America and I had a silent conversation.
"This place is wack." I mouthed back.
"Christine, you gotta let us out of here." Stephen pleaded, "Everyone's in real danger. Look, I know you don't know me..."
"And I don't want to." She snapped, "whatever I was to you in your universe does not matter here."
Stephen stepped back as though physically violated. "Why not."
Christine sighed heavily, "Because your dangerous Stephen."
"Look someone form our unvisited is coming here, and she's gonna rip this place apart atom by atom until she gets us. So I don't care if you're from the Avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D..."
"We're neither." Said a familiar voice. Mordo entered.
"Well what then? Hydra?"
Mordo smirked, and then he said, "The Illuminati will see you now."
