ALESSANDRO'S POV

We never made it out of the doors.

The house shook as Akila walked, she had one thing in mind she was not going to stop until she had it. But it seems like the plans have changed and flipped upside down.

In some magical way, Dante manages to reach us before we leave. He stood in front me and asked what the hell was happening. I told him that he's here, he's in Sicily on his way to kill us. I dismissed him to check where Akila went when I found Armando heading towards her, he was trying to stop her.

I ran. I ran to them before Akila lost her mind, before she killed him and the rest of us, before she lost every bit of self control left in her and performed a live action of Venom.

She didn't look at me, she didn't acknowledge my presence. Her eyes were set on Armando, Armando who stared back, who spoke and communicated with her through nothing.

W second later Adrino walked in, he warned us, he said we need to play this game right and move behind shadows. Dance agreed with him, Dante said so many things but that wasn't my worry, it was her.

It's true none of them know, it's true none of them will ever understand yet there was logic behind it, logic I didn't think Akila could accept. She doesn't go by the rules, she doesn't hide and attack in secret she shows herself. She steps in and goes for the throat. She doesn't stand back and wait for the right moment, she guides the moment when to be right.

She appears, bringing death and darkness with her. If she wants something, she will do it. And if anyone stands in her way, she doesn't hesitate to kill. She's a queen of her own land, her own world where whatever she demands occur. She built up that life and made it happen, now she won't stop at nothing.

I called for Armando, we all did but he was stuck. He got trapped into her mist, into the power she radiates over you, making you lose all control jusy by a look inot her queer eyes.

It's like a spell, a curse you can't escape, a state you can't break, a pair of hazel so steady, so demanding and strong they pin you in your place. They freeze you until she releases them, until she gives order to let you go.

At some point we were screaming, shouting, for him to snap out of it before it's too late. He couldn't, he wasn't able to hear us, see us nor focus, it was all on her. She stole his soul, she manipulated his mind into watching her and only her. She took away his strength and left him with nothing, leaving him with no lungs to breathe.

I believe it was a miracle, it was God threatening all of them. It was faith teaching and showing them a core memory lesson because she didn't shoot him. Aramndo somehow didn't die.

And I still wonder how, I still wonder if it really happened as I watched her then back around to face the three of us, allowing Armando to catch his breath.

She didn't go, she never went for the doors that day, she set down her gun and stood there. She observed them and actually listened. Dante and Adriano presented the idea again, nervously taking a few glances my way. When they finished, she moved again. She got closer to me and called for a meeting. I gathered them and brought Emilion, we sat around the room and waited for her. It took her two minutes when she walked in and spoke her plan openly, confidently and fearlessly. We will not wait, we will not hide and sneak up to kill, we will act, we will play a game, a really good game.

Akila likes to do whatever she wants when she wants it, but she also loves to mess around. She loves to use and manipulate people and that's what we are doing.
