Deleted Scenes Avengers: Endgame
October 2023
TWO DAYS LATER
Avengers Compound, New YorkThey were doing it, it seemed.
It was actually happening.
Well, there were still more steps to go, but everything was taking shape.
The team was back together, now working with people who years ago had been mere strangers.
Tony and Rocket had been working on a bigger Quantum Tunnel like the one in Scott's van, a bigger and more professional one. It was practically done.
A week ago everything seemed to remain the same and now a few days later they were just a couple of steps away from changing the world.
Restoring the universe.
You'd think Rose would be happier.
Steve knew it was because of that bittersweet feeling she'd been having about winning but losing. She played it off to everyone, but sometimes, when things were a bit calmer, you could tell there was something irking her.
This wasn't one of those moments though. The compound was hectic with everyone working and moving around.
The only one who wasn't doing much of either was Thor, who walked chirpily sipping his beer.
"Drifting left. On the side there, Lebowski," Tony walked past Thor carrying the rest of the tools for the tunnel. "Ratchet, How's it going?"
With a special hammer underneath a glass platform, the racoon voiced, "It's Rocket. Take it easy. You're only a genius on Earth, pal."
Thor burped and Tony turned around giving him a look.
Rose turned her head away from them returning her gaze to the situation at hand in the side room.
"Time travel suit?" Rhodey said checking out Scott's new suit, designed by Tony as per usual. This time he had no partner to help. The new suit was similar to his Ant-Man one, though the base remained dark grey, the armour was white on the chest, and the sides, including the boot area. Red decorated some of the outer lines. "Not bad."
"Hey, hey, hey!" Scott didn't respond to Rhodey as he got alarmed by Bruce's inspection of the suit and manipulation of the small tube with the Pym particles. "Easy, easy!"
"I'm being very careful," the bigger man complained.
"No, you're being very Hulky."
"I'm being careful."
The tiny bottle with the red substance was held up by Scott. "These are Pym Particles, alright? And ever since Hank Pym got snapped out of existence, this is it. This is what we have. We're not making any more," the man warned anxiously.
