My consciousness was gained back, the first thing I could feel is how cold I am. A cold wind flew past me, and my arms and legs were touching what felt like cement. I also suddenly realized that I was tied up, a blindfold blocking my vision. Well, how fucking annoying.
Deja vu washed over me as my memories came back. I am not in the game anymore. 'Where the hell is Jiyeong?' I thought as I felt the lack of her presence here.
In perfect timing I heard a muffled groan come from a couple feet away. Was it Jiyeong? Well obviously, it is Jiyeong dumbass. "Jiyeong!" I tried to call out but was blocked by the duct tape. In frustration, I kicked around trying to find my stuff. Once I had reached it, I pulled my pocketknife out, removing the ties from around my arms, then legs.
"Jiyeong." I called out once again after everything was off. She was lying on the ground next to me, wiggling around in fear, and trying to scream.
"Hey, you're fine." I tried to reassure her while carefully ripping the tape off her mouth. She immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"Sae-Byeok! Sae-Byeok where are we?" Her voice was shaky, but I was too focused on taking the ties off of her arms.
"We're on a random street, we're fine." I replied, finally taking off the blindfold. Her eyes adjusted to the light as she looked around.
"Wow, it's dark out."
"No shit." I chuckled slightly, getting up to find my clothes. Jiyeong did the same, finally looking straight at me. With no hesitation she said, "You look hot half naked."
"Excuse me?" I breathed out, obviously flustered. She laughed, smirking evilly. "You really can't hide your thoughts well, can you?" I asked in disbelief, struggling to hide my pink cheeks.
"Obviously not." She shrugged.
Once we both had our clothes on and all of our stuff packed, I immediately suggested we go to the children's home. On our way there, Jiyeong did not stop talking about Cheol and me. She asked what he was like, what I was like with him, and other not important questions. She also kept on insisting that she held my hand, I would slip out of her grasp on purpose, but she would notice and hold my hand again.
As we reached the building, all lights were off except for the lobby. Two security guards stood outside, watching for trespassers.
"Shit, are we going to get arrested?" Jiyeong whispered and I immediately looked at her like she was stupid.
"No, I am a legal guardian of a child in there, idiot." I sighed, walking towards the building slowly.
"No, I'm a legal guardian of a child in there, idiot." Jiyeong mocked from behind me in a purposefully annoying voice.
