Meeting with the villain

It was a sudden change of sight. After Drake finished his last breath a light suddenly illuminated his vision. He began to notice some figures around him. He was somewhere unknown, not in a void nor an abyss. Everything was covered with light, hard to tell if the place had boundaries. A white-filled place.

Is this the afterlife? Or maybe not?

A rounded tea table and two chairs decorated with ornamental plants were the only furnitures he saw in this empty white space. Aside from them, he saw a man in a greek clothing flying (yup, "flying" ), coming to him with a stoic face. He had a black hair and two pairs of red crimson eyes, quite big, similar to that of a cat's eyes.

Are those eyes true? He wondered.

No. That didn't seem to be the best question in this situation. Either true or not depends on the existence of this dream-like world. Drake didn't feel too tensed about his situation now. It was likely because of his past that he was used to accept things as what they seemed to be. Not that he was bothered about this though. He knew he just died earlier. If he was about to be judged by this mythical (because of his greek fashion) being, then he didn't have a choice, either to live in hell or in heaven.

As the mythical being landed on the... white space... or while plane perhaps, he raised his pale white hands and summoned a scroll out of nowhere. He faced the scroll to Drake which surprised him as his eyes immediately averted to the scroll.

There, he saw large symbols of characters he knew as it was normal to know about it.

WELCOME TO YOUR SOUL DIMENSION

"W-welcome to your soul realm... where y-you can have a time to dream... anything." The mythical being said stoically. His voice did not show any feelings of greeting someone with excitement. It was as if he was forcing his voice to be cuter as he spoke. His hands holding the scroll was trembling.

"... "

"W-welcome to your s-soul realm. Y-your soul dimension is a place where you can dream... a-anything..."

"Pfft!!" Drake immediately covered his mouth and turned around as if he was not yet ready for another joke. He just died back then and here it goes again?! What if this mythical being is angered?! He might go to hell just for this!

He knew that the mythical being was nervous just now. Although stern as he spoke, he was definitely trying to greet this guy who just died.

After hearing Drakes silent laugher, the mythical being frowned and crumpled the scroll. He threw it aside and it slowly disappeared like fragments.

"You really are a joker as what your memories are telling me..." The mythical being began to talk again but right now, it was more cold and serious.

Is this perhaps his real personality? No wonder he was having hard time greeting the dead guy.

"Are you about to judge me?" Soon, Drake turned to him while still smiling. "Is this place the afterlife? What do you mean by soul dimension?"

The mythical being walked towards the tea table. "You did not ask about my name first..." The mythical being responded as he sat on one of the chairs. He gestured to Drake to sit on the other chair.

"R-right. My bad." Drake accepted his request and went to the tea table as well. He sat down on the chair facing this diety-looking figure in front of him.

"May I know your name, sir?"

"My name..." The mythical being raised his hand again and summoned some teacups and a teapot. He also summoned a jar of sugar cubes and placed them all on the table.
