A/N: I will be posting two chapters today since they were supposed to be just one but I cut them. Also, I don't want you to feel hanging...——————————————————
Two hands stood up among the crowd which made all whose hands were down to look at them both.
A woman, raising her tiny, pointed hands in the air stood on the other side of the platform was Vanessa Clarin, the peach-haired heroine. The man on the opposite side was also raising his hand along with a small paper showing them the number '1' clipped off between his index and middle finger.
The man named Bendry Serventine who grinned professionally, as if he already knew everything.

Evade! Evade! Evade! Damn!
The atmosphere started to grow dreary. Some felt disappointed that they were not paired with Bendry while mostly felt bothered. The heroine was talented in magic but she was new to this lesson while the villain could not even wield magic but he already experienced a lot of things when battling his bullies. No one knows who will win but they sure voted for the heroine.
The silent mage who already knew how Bendry evaded every attacks without even using magic felt a little bit of nervousness. He was somewhat afraid Bendry might do something bad to the heroine.
"It would be best if you give up..." The bushhead initiated to whisper to Bendry though not looking at him.
As for the smiling bastard, he could guess what these people were thinking since he already read the novel. Doubt, hope, faith in the heroine, all so sure their choice was not him. Sadly they won't be seeing him defeated right now.
"Okay, you may now come up here..." Professor Eleanor and the other instructors felt bothered as well. They were used to see Bendry always defeated by other students but now, the one he was paired with was new and even to that, Vanessa seemed to be like a weak woman.
The fragile looking heroine climbed up the platform, of course feeling nervous because this lesson was new. On top of that, the one she's fighting against was the person who kept stalking her ever since entering the academy.
Bendry, on the other hand normally climbed up the platform without even feeling pressured at all. He was just on the process of nearly achieving his goal. The villain had always been defeated hundreds of times with so many regressions in this Battle Arts lesson. There was no memory of him winning even once so even for this time Bendry wanted to change this. What was only in his mind was the desire to win.
"Don't get afraid of him! We know you can do it!" Nazor cheered the heroine from below the platform.
"Yeah! Show him what you learned this past weeks!" Even Leynard added.
It was written in the novel. How Nazor, Leynard, and the crown prince helped her wield four elemental magic with basic attacks took the the entire scene two chapters. Even Claymore who was silently standing as an audience among the students right now even helped the heroine secretly by giving signs and writing words on tree trunks. How totally supported.
According to the novel, the heroine and the villain would fight in this battle as the first pair and for some reason, the villain smiled. Yes he smiled. Everytime he saw the heroine, he would smile but pervertedly like a man hungry for something.
As the story proceeded, the villain took the initiative to come to the heroine slowly, not harming the heroine for sure. During the entire fight, the heroine was not hurt at all even to the slightest. In fact the villain was more injured from the fight.
