Walking through the door to the house y/n's nerves were getting worse. They started twisting the ring on their middle finger which was something they always did when they were anxious. Eddie looked down at y/n's hands and noticed what they were doing.

"Hey, we can go if you want? It's really not a problem. Honestly I kind of hate parties too.."

Y/n couldn't tell if he was being honest or was just trying to make them feel better. "I'll be okay, I'm just not good with big groups of new people."

Eddie gently grabbed y/n's hand to stop them from playing with the ring. A small, kind smile swept across his face. "Well if it gets too much just let me know, and we can leave. But I'm gonna be right here with you."

Y/n started to blush. They'd only met this guy this morning and yet he's made them feel more comfortable than anyone else ever had.

Y/n simply nodded and smiled back before pulling their hand away from Eddies.

"Right let's keep moving, I can see my friends just through there." Eddie pointed toward a group of 3 people. Looking at them y/n was surprised they were friends of Eddies.

As they got closer y/n could hear the friends talking.

"Who is that with Eddie?" Said a guy who had brown hair and sunglasses.  And then a girl with short blonde hair replied with "I don't know". But they seemed to be staring. Quite obviously. The other girl with them didn't speak, she seemed to be annoyed with the guy.

"Hey Eddie!" The blonde girl kind of screamed.

"Uh hey guys, this is..."

"Y/n".  They interrupted. "Nice to meet you."

The guy with the sunglasses approached y/n.

"Very,very nice to meet you y/n. I'm Steve. Steve Harrington." Steve leaned closer to y/n and looked them up and down, which seemed to annoy the other girl even more.

The blonde girl rolled her eyes. "Seriously Steve? Please ignore him. He has issues with talking to beautiful people like a normal person. I'm robin, and this is Nancy." She said pointing to the other girl, who gave y/n a forced smile.

Y/n laughed slightly. "Nice to meet you Robin. But I don't know wether to take what you just said as a compliment or not..."

Robin smiled. "A compliment. Definitely. Right Steve?"

Steve must of noticed that Nancy was getting annoyed. He barely looked up and said "uh yeah, sure." Y/n figure they were a couple or something.

Eddie laughed. "You guys are being extra weird right now."

Before anyone else could speak, a loud roar of cheering started erupting  outside.

Y/n looked towards the noise and then back at the group. "What's going on out there?"

"Oh that's probably just..." Steve started to speak before y/n interrupted.

They noticed a group of guys walking in through the back doors cheering. Y/n's heart sank when they saw who the person they were cheering for was. They locked eyes and he walked directly toward them. Y/n could barely breathe. But managed to utter out one word.

"Billy?"
