It has been 2 years since Obe lost Luna...
Team RWBY with Obe and Luna are walking through Vale. A sign was being put up saying "Welcome to Vale", which seemed to please Weiss.
Weiss: They Vytal festival! Oh this is absolutely wonderful!
Ruby: I don't think I've seen you smile this much Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out.
Obe: I'm in agreement with Ruby.
Weiss: How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances, parades, a tournament! Oh the amount of planning and organization is simply breathtaking!
Yang: You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring.
Luna: *looks at Yang* I agree, she makes it sound very boring.
Weiss: Quiet you two!
There was a sound of a boat horn which caught the group's attention as they look to the sea.
Yang: Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?
Ruby: *pinches her nose* It smells like fish.
Luna: *looks at Ruby* You'll get used to it. *Obe laughs a bit at what she said*
Weiss: I've heard that students from Vacuo will arrive by ship today. And as a representative of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom.
Blake: *looks at Ruby and Yang* She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament.
Weiss: You can't prove that!
Ruby: Woah.
The group looked at a crime scene at a dust store and they walk up to the scene of the crime.
Ruby: What happened here?
Detective1: Robbery. Second dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle.
The detective walks away.
Yang: That's terrible.
Detective2: They left all the money again.
Ruby: Huh? *she looks at the detectives*
Detective1: Yeah, just doesn't make sense. Who needs that much dust?
Detective2: I dunno, you know what I mean?
Detective1: You're thinking uh, the White Fang?
Detective2: Ya I'm thinking we don't get paid enough.
The two detectives the continue to do their thing as Weiss crosses her arms. Something then catches Obe's eye, he approaches the crime scene to examine it closer.
Weiss: The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates.
Obe: *trying to get the group's attention* Hey.
Blake: What's your problem?
Obe: Hey...
Weiss: My problem? I just don't care for the criminally insane.
Obe: *annoyed, then shouts* HEY!! *everyone looks at him as he calms a bit* I don't think the White Fang did this.
Yang: How can you tell?
Obe: Come look at this. *gestures to the group to get closer*
The girls get closer to see a weird scorch mark on the ground.
