Lou's pov:

Delia looked at me with a big smile and suddenly gave me a long hug. "It's really beautiful out here." she said close to my ear. I pulled away from the hug and cupped her cheeks with my hands. "Not as beautiful as you." I said and leaned in for a kiss. I could feel her smile on my mouth as our lips connected. "God, you're driving me crazy" she whispered before kissing me, and hell did it make my heart race. She put her hands on my neck and I guess she could feel my goosebumps from her cold fingers, because she quickly lifted them again. She put her hands on my shoulders and mumbled "Sorry I'm cold." She's just too sweet. I moved my hands and put them on hers. "It's okey." I said as I took her hands and let them down as I continued, "Lets go and warm you up a bit." She nodded and smiled and we started to walk over to my little 'half building'. I don't even know what to call it, but at least it has a floor and it protects you from the wind pretty well.

"Did you build all of this?" Delia asked as we stepped up on the wooden floor. "Well, yeah, but it wasn't really that hard." I answered as I sat down in the sofa. I looked at her and gestured for her to sit down beside me, so she got over and sat down. I grabbed a blanked and pulled it over us before putting my arm around her. "It's so cozy out here" I nodded as a response and she continued, "Do you come here often?" "Yeah, every now and then when I need to get away for a moment. The others don't know that I come here." "Oh." she just mumbled and rested her head against my shoulder. I gently stroke her arm as she looked out over the lake.

She sighed and said quietly "We should build a nice wooden pier here." I chuckled lightly and replied "We? Have you built many piers before?" She laughed and said "No, but it can't be that hard. A nice steady foundation with a bunch of planks and you're done." I couldn't help it but to burst out in laughter. She leaned back up and looked at me. "Steady foundation" I laughed and she joined me. When we had calmed down I finally answered her "Yeah, maybe we should. We could make it real nice out here some day, if you want to." She looked me in the eyes and said "Of course I want to." with a smile and I mirrored her expression. She moved away a bit from me and lifted up the blanket and asked with a soft voice "Can I lie down?" and glanced over to my lap. I smiled and nodded. She lied down with her head resting on my thighs and pulled the blanket back over her.

Delia's pov:

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in and out, and said quietly "I really like you, Lou." I opened my eyes and saw her comforting smile over me. She just gazed over me for a moment before whispering "I like you too, Lilah." before she leaned down and kissed my forehead. I smiled and closed my eyes again, and I could feel one of her hands twirling and stroking my hair, and the other resting on my upper stomach. We just stayed like that for a while, I don't know for how long. As I laid there on her lap my mind started to trail of and I started to think about how she was when I first met her. She seemed like this strong, bold, towering woman who could make you fall or break for her in just seconds. Now she's sweet, caring, cheeky person who will do almost everything in her power to make you feel good. I don't know really, but I feel like she has really opened up to me. Suddenly Lou drew me back from my thoughts with saying "What's on your mind." I opened my eyes and received eye contact. "Nothing really. My mind just trailed off, sorry." Why can't I open up to her?

"Hey, no need to apologize." she said gently. I nodded slowly and she furrowed her eyebrows and asked "How are you?" "I'm good, just a bit tired." "You sure?" she asked, and all I could focus on was her accent. I smiled a bit and answered "Yes I'm sure, really. But thanks for asking." "Alright." she just said. "How are you?" I asked her back. She thought for a second before replying "I'm wonderful." with a wide smile. She really ment it. I smiled back and said "Then I'm wonderful too." Lou chuckled a bit and said "I hate to destroy this moment, but we should get back to Deb and Tam." Shit. I had totally lost track of time. "Oh, yeah we should. I'll just send a quick message to Deb and tell them we're on our way back." Lou grinned a bit and said "Yeah, you do that." I sat up beside her and grabbed my phone.

Messages: Debbie

17:43. Hey Deb, Lou and I have taken a little trip on her bike and we lost track of time, sorry... We're on our way back now. See you soon!

I looked over to Lou and she was just about to get up. She held out a hand to me and I took it with a smile. We got up and started walking back to the bike when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. A message from Debbie. I opened it:

17:44. No problems, just get home asap, we have a surprise for you;) Also tell Lou that I'll kill her when you get home, I told her to take the goddamn car with you!

A surprise? Oh god, what is she up to now? I told Lou what Debbie had wrote and she just laughed. I set away a quick response just after Lou put our helmets on again.

17:46. She just laughed at you lol. And I don't want any surprises. I hope you haven't gotten me anything expensive now because if you have I don't want it.

17:47. No. And I'm sure you'll love it. Just get here already!"

17:47. Fine don't tell me then. ttyl

"Ready to go?" Lou asks as I put my phone back in my pocket. "Yeah! Hey do you know what Debbie's up to?" She just shrugged her shoulder with a smirk and got on the bike. I sat down behind her and wrapped my arms around her. She started the motorbike and drove off.

After some time we were back outside of the doors to Lou's house. She knocked on the door, not a usual knock but some kind of signal. I looked at her confused and she just grinned again. Finally she opened the door. We walked inside and I saw Debbie and Tammy sitting and laughing in the sofa. "Hi guys!" Tammy said and locked eyes with me. Debbie smiled towards me as Lou walked up to them and Debbie gave her a look I didn't understand. I paused a bit and asked "What's going on?"

I heard a "Hey!" and a familiar chuckle behind me. "NO FUCKING WAY!" I scream as I turn around. There he stood smiling at me. "RUSTY!"

He laughed and said "That's me." before I gave him a big hug. "I can tell you've missed me." he continued as he stroke my back. I let go and stared up on him. "How could I not? God, I can't believe you're here!" He chuckled again and replied "Well here I am! I thought we could go out and eat, just us two. I wanna catch up with you." I smiled wide at him "That sounds amazing! Oh, how are you by the way?" "You know, I'm great! Not much going on right now though." "I don't believe that!" Suddenly Deb cleard her throat to get our attention, "Wanna sit down for a minute before you go off again?" I looked back at Rusty and we both nodded. "Alright." He said and we went to sit down in the empty sofa. Deb and Tammy sat in the one on the opposite side and Lou sat down in an armchair next to them. "How about you Lilah? Anything going on? Anything to break into?" I laughed and answered "No not really, I've kept my distance to locks for a while." Debbie gave us a questioning, and quite scary stare.

Rusty pointed at me and spoke "You know she's a lock picker, right?" Shit. I haven't talked about that. "What?" she uttered. "Damn... I haven't told you, have I?" She just stared at me with an unclear face, and so did Tam and Lou too. I looked back at him and he was just about to say something before Lou opened her mouth "Oh I get it now..." I furrowed my brows as we both gave her a dazed galanse. "Well the hand skills I mean-" she started before getting cut of by Debbies stare. "I have so so many questions right now..."

I gave Lou a look and Rusty said "Oh... Wow you gotta tell me about that..." as he got up and continued "Well, Deborah, as much as I want to listen to you being clueless for once, me and Delia needs to get going." I stood up as well and agreed. "I think so too! Bye..." And we walked towards the exit. Just as I closed the door I heard Deb mumble "What the fuck?"
