"Oh, Come on, DJ. I was only kidding." I laughed as he continued to ignore me. "DJ..." I said, getting on the couch, sitting on my knees while facing him. He continued to flip the channels. "Daniel, Stop." I said. Nothing. "Want candy?" I tried again. Nothing. "Danieeeel." I whined. "Well, Someone is a little sensitive." I muttered.
Daniel turned and glared at me, then continued on with the silent treatment. "Stop being such a kid, DJ." I said, slapping his arm playfully. He again ignored me. "Daniel stop it!" I said. "Ugh." I sighed in defeat. I laid down, laying my head in his lap and staring up at him.
He dropped his head to look down at me. He just stared. "Stop it, Daniel." I said. "Please talk." I said. "it's killing me!" He turned his head back up to the TV, watching The Big Bang Theory. I sighed. I poked his stomach, he flinched, grabbing my hand and taking it away from his stomach.
"Danieeeeeel!" I complained again.
"God, you're annoying." he said, rolling his eyes. "What do you want?" he asked, I stared at him in astonishment.
"You talked." I grinned from ear to ear. He chuckled, laying his head back on the couch. He turned his body so, he could lay down on his side. I cuddled up closer to him. "What did your mom say?" I asked, tracing random circles with my finger on his arm.
"RJ told her we are together...for real. Cause I told her about our fight and about everything." He said. I nodded. "Apparently we're going over for dinner tomorrow night." I nodded again. "What?" He asked.
"Hmm?" I hummed up to him.
"Now, the second I start talking, you stop talking." He said. I shrugged.
"I'm just tired again..." I said. He looked down at me, as his fingers caressed my face. He traced his fingers over my eye lids making me shut them. I felt myself grow weary and I nestled my face into DJ's neck.
"Daniel..." I said.
"Yes?" He asked, now stroking my hair.
"I love you." I said. He stopped stroking my hair, I knew it was very soon to say it. But, he's my best friend, I've known him for a while, I think I even fell in love with him a LONG time ago.
"I love you, too." I heard Daniel say. I smiled up at him, he grinned back at me. He slowly captured his lips over mine and I just wanted to stay like this forever. But, all good moments come to end...Well, really only because the door bell ring because we forgot Julia was coming over to pick up her movie that Daniel had borrowed from her.
But...I'm glad DJ and I took it to the next step in our relationship. It was bound to happen someday. I just knew that no matter how many times I'm with Daniel, I still haven't had enough.
