Part 16

Author's POV..

Taegguk was now walking with his mumma and bunny uncle..He was happy cause he was going to the park with his two favourites and couldn't wait to devour his mint choco icecream..So he was licking it from time to time..

He started quickening his pace to reach there fast..

On the other hand, both adults didn't know what to do other than following their excited son..One was irritated to be in this situation and one was feeling giddy because he got the chance to spend some time with his little family. But they both didn't start any conversation because ne was not interested  and one was scared..But one thing was common between them, their fast beating hearts..One was trying to shrug it off and one was feeling happy for getting chance to spend some time with his worlds..

After walking for 5 minutes, they reached at the park..Taegguk quickly went near a sit and gestured them to come fast with his tiny hands..

"Mummaaa..bunny uncall fasssstt"

Jungkook looked at his son..He was feeling overwhelmed..

"Y-yeahh baby coming", he mentally slapped himself for stuttering..

"You both aalll two slowwwwww..hihihihihi..I am the w-wii-wii.."

"Baby it's winner", Tae replied while booping his son's nose..

"Yesh.. that's what I said"

"Uncal uncal"

"Yes Ggukie"

"I want to plaaaayyyyy"

"Sure why not..but before, we need to finish this icecream..yeah?"

Taegguk nodded and started eating his favourite icecream.

"See I am first..You lost..hahahahaha"

"Uncall..thatshhh not fair", Taegguk pouted cutely..

Jungkook chuckled seeing his adorable cute little bunny..

"Otaayy...then catch me uncaallll", with saying this Taegguk started running and giggling..

"You wait..little bunny..I am coming"

Taehyung watched everything with his eyes..One part of him wanted Jungkook to be out of Gguk's life but one part of him was getting emotional after seeing his son this much happy with his father..

He always wanted to give Gguk that father's love he deserved..He tried..He tried so much..but was he successfull? He kind of felt selfish because he snatched that love from his son..but was he really selfish?

No..He was not..He tried to be a better husband for Jungkook..He always did put a smile on his face although he was getting hurt inside..He did try to get his love..He tried to control his heart from breaking even after seeing his husband cheating on him..He still tried..but his all hopes went in vain..did he deserve all of that?

Everything was repeating inside his mind..He knew he would start crying anytime..but he can't..He can't be weak infront of him..He broke him onetime..That will not happen again..So what if his heart wants to go to Jungkook and hug him tightly? So what if his heart wants him to cry in Jungkook's arms? His mind won't let him do that.. He is not a toy who would be broken by him again and again..

"Tae"

Taehyung got out of his trance..He looked at him with a face which held no emotion..

After not getting any response, Jungkook started continuing..

"Tae can we have d-dinner together at t-that resturant?", He pointed his fingers with expectation to the restaurant he was talking about..It was not that fancy but looked really elegant and beautiful..

"No", Tae mumbled..

"Huh?"

"I said no", Tae replied with a stern voice..

"Gguk really wanted to go there..W-we can go now..I promise it will not take much time"

Tae didn't reply..He closed his eyes while gritting his teeth..

"Mummaaa letz go naaaa pleazzzzz"

He looked at his son..his beautiful bambi eyes..he didn't want to break his son's heart but he can't..He can't get soft so soon..If his son is happy with Jungkook, then Jungkook would have to prove himself..He would have to prove that he will not ever break his son's heart..So he needs to be strong..Not for him, but for his son..He can't let his son to get hurt..

He crouched down infront of his son and caressed his cheeks lovingly..

"Baby you ate icecream no? Eating restaurant's food everyday is not good for health baby..You need to be strong for mumma..no??"

Taegguk nodded..

"My baby needs to be strong like superheros..But if he will get sick then how can he save his mumma from villains?", Tae said with a sad expression..

That did melt Taegguk..He quickly changed his plans and faced Jungkook..

"Bunny uncalllll solly..We can't go today"

Jungkook looked at his son and smiled lightly..

"But don't wolly..I plomise we will go..now smilee..pleeazzz"

Jungkook picked him up and nuzzled his face on Gguk's neck..He knows that Tae didn't want to be with him..He was getting emotional..But what can he do other than trying?

He kissed Gguk's cheeks and said,

"Okay but let me drop you off..It's getting late"

"No thanks..I am gonna book a cab"

"Tae please..It's not safe"

Tae sighed and nodded a bit..He was not in a mood of arguing..

Jungkook's face lightened up with expectation..He showed his bunny smile and took them near his car..

He put Gguk in the back seat and opened the passenger seat's door for Tae..Tae told his location and Kook put it on the GPS..

Throughout the driving, there was an awkward silence..Gguk was sleeping peacefully and Jungkook was too scared to say anything..

After sometime, they reached at Tae's place..The car stopped..Tae started unbuckling his seatbelt..

"T-thank you Tae"

Taehyung stopped his movement..

"Thank you for giving me the opportunity to spend some time with you and Gguk"

Tae looked at him..His heart was beating fast on his ribcage..He couldn't say anything..He got out of the car and took Gguk from the backseat..Without even glancing for once he left..

If he would have looked back once..He would have seen those tears in Jungkook's eyes..
