Part 23

Author's pov..

It was 8 am in the morning..The sun rays have lightened up the room they were in..They didn't realise how but they fell asleep in eachother's embrace after crying their heart out.

Jungkook stirred in his sleep because of the light..He felt a weight on his body..He quickly opened his eyes and the view melted his heart..Tae was sleeping in his embrace, hugging him tightly as if he will run away from him..He looked so innocent and so ethereal that Jungkook could not move his eyes from the beauty before him..He placed his hand on Tae's face carefully not wanting him to wake up.. Hesitantly he gave a kiss on Tae's forehead..He felt blessed..After admiring the beauty for sometime, he thought about ordering breakfast for both of them..He placed Tae's head on the pillow near him carefully and then went to bathroom to do his morning routine.

He was happy and grateful to the God for giving him this second chance..He will work hard to make Tae feel safe and secured near him.

After coming out of the washroom, Jungkook ordered breakfast for them and some medicine for the hangover..It didn't take much time.. After few minutes, he heard the doorbell and went near it to get the food..

"Good morning sir..this is your breakfast"

"Morning..You don't have to serve it, I can manage"

"Ok sir..Have a good day"

Jungkook nodded..He took the food from the staff and closed the door of their suite..

He placed it near the table and saw the sleeping figure before him..He smiled and went near him..

"Tae"

"Tae"

Jungkook shook Taehyung lightly which made Tae open his eyes.

"Good morning Tae"

"Mmmm", Tae tried to sit up but immediately groaned because of the headache..

"Aish",he whined..

"Here..take this medicine..You drank too much last night", Jungkook gave him the medicine and a glass of water.

Tae softly smiled and took the medicine from him..

After that, they both ate their breakfast in peace..No body was saying a word.. Both remembered what happened yesterday but didn't know how to bring the topic..

"Thank you Jungkook"

"Why? Why are you thanking me Tae?", Jungkook was confused.

"Thank you for listening to my bullshits yesterday"

"What are you even saying Tae? I should be grateful that you shared your thoughts with me..You..You mean the world to me Tae..Your words, yours thoughts are the most valuable thing to my life Tae..I hope..I hope you could know that"

Jungkook scooted closer to him.

"C-can I-I hug you ?"

Tae nodded repeatedly. Jungkook didn't waste a millisecond and took Tae in his embrace..He hugged him so tightly..He was scared..He thought if he looses his brace he will loose Tae..so he hugged him with all his might..He closed his eyes in the bliss of hugging his loved one..He was so happy to get the chance of comforting him..

He took his time and then started rubbing Tae's back lovingly..

"It's okay Tae..It's okay to be hurt..It's okay to feel tired sometimes..It's okay to feel like giving up.. It's okay to not be okay..You don't need to be strong everytime..You can be weak Tae..I never have seen you giving up..You are so strong and so beautiful inside out.. Everybody has tough times..You can do it Tae..I know, I believe in you..I don't know what is bothering you but I can assure you that I will always be there for you everytime..I hope you know that"

Tae felt so overwhelmed after listening to his words..A tear left his eyes and then another..But it was not the tear of sadness..It was the tear of finally getting comforted from your home..Tae felt so comfortable so relaxed that he kept nuzzling his nose to Jungkook's neck unconsciously..

His doings stilled Jungkook for some seconds.. Jungkook's heart started beating rapidly on his ribcage..but he tried to calm himself down because Tae needed his comfort more than anything right now.

So he kept talking.

"You know Tae..we always understand the value of others when they go far from us..It exactly what happened to me..I felt so helpless..I hated myself for loosing a gem like you..I still do..I searched everywhere but couldn't find you..I understood how your presence became a most important part of my life..I felt like giving up Tae but you know..A hope..a slight hope didn't make me give up on myself..It was you..I wanted to be the better version of myself for you..A person who is not an asshole..I wanted you to see me the way you always wanted..I knew that oneday I will find you..I waited for that day..I didn't want you to be dissapponted on me so I prepared myself for that day..and see? I found you..I don't know if I am better or not but trust me..I try to be the better version of myself for you everyday..I don't want to hurt you"

"I was not okay but one of your single thought kept me going so I know you can do it too..I don't want you to share your thoughts with me if you are not comfortable..but I want to be there to comfort you..Tae..Can I?"

Tae looked at him..

He felt so overwhelmed and happy..He felt like trusting Jungkook once more..He felt like trying once more..He can surely see the change in Jungkook's eyes..so why not..why not give it a try?

Jungkook waited for Tae's reply. He was scared of rejection so he closed his eyes but the soft yet deep voice of his love soothed his uneasiness in seconds..

"Y-yes"

College is being pain in the ass again.. Assignments and assignments 😭

This week was so hard for me that I couldn't even breathe.. Yesterday it got over so finally I got time to write.
