Part 22

Author's POV..

"It's getting cloudy",Jungkook said while having the dinner at the restaurant.

"Yeah it's gonna rain probably", Tae said.

They had their dinner and talked casually about their project. They didn't feel uncomfortable or bothered..It was quite opposite..It's not that they talked much but there was a calming aura between them..They felt at ease..

After finishing their dinner, Jungkook paid the bill though Tae tried so much to pay.. After arguing for 10 minutes, Tae finally gave up and Jungkook grinned for the winning.

They did exit the restaurant and decided to go back to their car. As soon as they got out, they got hit with cold breeze.

Tae felt cold so he tried to hug himself. Jungkook saw Tae shivering from the cold so he said,

"Should I buy a jacket for you? You are shivering"

"No no.. it's not necessary at all..Just let's go back to the car"

"Oh okay"

They walked fast and reached to their car which was parked in the parking lot.

"Sir", The driver said to Jungkook.

"Yes"

"Have you seen the weather forecast?"

"No why?"

"Sir..They are saying about storm and heavy rainfall"

"Storm?"

"Yes sir..The news channels are saying that it would be really powerful"

Jungkook didn't get the chance to answer.. before that Tae's phone started ringing.

"Hello Hyung?"

"Umm Tae..Have you heard about the storm?"

"Yeah"

"Well stay wherever you are for tonight..It's going to start in no time..It's not safe"

"But what about Gguk? He never slept without me"

"Don't worry about him..I am here so don't worry"

"But"

"No but Tae..stop arguing and listen to me once"

"Umm okay"

"Good night"

"What is it?", Jungkook asked after not being able to control his curiosity.

"Umm hobi Hyung told me about the storm and also said to stay wherever I am", Tae sighed.

"Tae I think we should stay somewhere..It's not safe to drive while there is a heavy storm going on.

Tae nodded.

"Umm driver take us to a hotel..We are going to stay there for tonight"

"Okay sir"

The storm started when they reached a nearby hotel. After parking the car, they went to the reception.

"Book a elite suit for us and whatever you want for yourself..take the card", with saying that Jungkook handed his black card to his driver and waited with a hesitating Taehyung.

"I have booked two separate bedrooms for us so please don't feel uncomfortable"

"I'm not uncomfortable and umm thank you"

"You don't need to thank me everytime Tae"

Tae nodded..A soft smile was forming on his beautiful face.

After booking, they went to their elite suite..It was beautiful..Two bedrooms with attached washrooms and balcony..A beautiful, cozy living room and a little kitchen with minibar.

"It's so cool", Tae whispered.

"Yeah it is"

"Tae get freshen up a bit..You must have feeling tired"

"Okay", Tae smiled.

Tae went to the washroom which was attached with his room..He opened the hot shower and stood under it..He felt his muscles relaxing a bit after the tiring day..A soft smile was attached to his face..He really felt comfortable with Jungkook after all these years..He can feel this new Jungkook has changed a lot from before..Tae started thinking about the second chance.

After sometime he got out of the washroom and went out of his room after wearing the robe.

The living room and the kitchen was empty so he understood that Jungkook may have went to the washroom.

Tae came near the kitchen and stood near the minibar. There were Wine, Whiskey, Vodka, Beers..Tae took out two wine glass and poured some red wine for himself.

He heard Jungkook's footsteps so he said,

"What do you to drink?"

"Umm white wine sounds good"

Tae smiled and poured white wine for Jungkook. He took both of glasses and went to the couch.

"Are you sure you wanna drink Tae?", Jungkook asked.. concern was feeling his eyes..He never saw Tae drinking before.

"Umm it's okay..I want to release some stress"

"Okay then I am coming with the bottles", Jungkook beamed and jumped on the couch after putting both wine bottles on the table near the couch.

Tae giggled and turned on the tv..They decided to watch a horror movie.. Jungkook kept looking at Tae from time to time..He couldn't believe that he was sitting with Tae on the same couch and watching a movie together.. Maybe life would have been like this if he hadn't fucked up before..

Tae was on his fourth glass.. Jungkook was now really concerned about Tae..He tried to stop him..

"Tae I think it's enough.. don't drink too much"

Tae took the remote and turned off the tv. He scooted closer to Jungkook and rested his head on his shoulder.

Jungkook was awestruck..He couldn't breathe..He couldn't believe what is happening..He pinched his hands to believe that he was not dreaming. He squealed in happiness internally.

Suddenly he stopped smiling when he heard muffled sobs..He turned his head on the side and his heart broken on the sight.

Tae was crying silently while burying his head on his shoulder.

"Tae"

"Tae", Jungkook was getting worried so he tried to look at Tae's face but Tae tightened his hold on him..

"I-I am tired K-kook"

Jungkook kept rubbing Tae's back soothingly..It's his way to tell Tae continue.

"It's hard..I can't..Life is getting too hard..I feel like giving up"

Jungkook tightened his hold around Tae.

After sometime Tae calmed down a little bit and said,

"Why didn't you love me before Kookie?I always wonder now what would have happened if you loved me..Would I be happy Jungkook?", Tae looked at Jungkook.

Jungkook's heart broke after seeing Tae like this.

"T-Tae..I'm so fucking stupid for realising the love I have for you this late..I am so fucking stupid Tae..I hate myself for that"

Tae kept looking at him.

"When I felt some feelings towards you..I-I being an asshole decided to ignore you..I stopped coming at home..Trust me Tae..I swear on God..I never cheated on you..T-that day I didn't kiss her..You came in my mind and I left the bar then and there..I am so sorry for being an asshole to you Tae..It breaks my heart seeing you suffer like..I hate myself whenever I see tears in your eyes..I am so sorry for breaking you Tae", Jungkook didn't realise that he was crying too..

Tae hugged him..tightly..They cried in eachother's embrace..They both tried to heal eachother's pain of these years.
