Ciel: Ah right, before we go...
Lyn and Ferd turn to face me as I sat up the park bench nudging to my left. The street lamp is still cut in half, with its upper piece on the ground.
Ferdinand: Oh! Almost forgot about that, I got it.
Ferd picks up the fallen street lamp part and reattaches it to its original position. Afterwards, a flame akin to a blowtorch spews out of his finger which he uses to weld the pieces together.
Ferdinand: And done. Lyn, if you please.
Lyn walks up to the lamppost now and places her hand on it. This time, a surge of electricity comes coursing through it. Restoring the lamp's light in the process.
Lyn: There we go, it's as if nothing happened.
I was in awe with how they used their Ether.
Ciel: I knew Ether could be used this way, I just never thought I'd see it in person. Nice work, I guess.
Ferdinand: Ha, you should see us in a fight.
Ciel: I'll pass- I've been in enough fights already... So, what are your names?
Ferdinand: I am Ferdinand Renes. You can call me Ferd for short.
Lyn: My name is Lyndis Wesley. I hope we get along.
Ciel: Right, Lyn and Ferd. Got it.
But then, a low grumble surprised all three of us. It didn't take long for me to realize it was from my own stomach. Still haven't gotten dinner...
Ferd: Dang! We should hurry up to the cafeteria before you starve to death Ciel-
Lyn: I hate to imagine what your stomach's feeling right now. Come on, let's go.
I simply nod as the hunger only intensified after my little scuffle with the woman named "Stella".
So we were off to get dinner. For I desperately needed some.
-A few minutes later-
After a few twists and turns and another elevator ride, we have arrived. The whole cafeteria looks like a 5 star restaurant. Chandeliers, comfy chairs and top tier food. I almost didn't notice the amount of people here despite it being this late.
Ferd taps me on the shoulder to get my attention.
Ferd: Lyn and I will go find us a spot to stay, how about you order us our dinner in the meantime?
Lyn: Here, I'll write down what we'll have. Don't worry about the check too, Ferd's paying for tonight.
Ferd: Wait wha-
Lyn kicks Ferd in the shins before he could protest.
Lyn: Anyways, we'll see you at the table!
Lyn drags Ferd along while he screams internally.
As I stare at the two, I think to myself...
Ciel: What an odd pair, they are fun to watch at least.
With that, I head off to get our food. Luckily the line wasn't that long too, can't imagine what this place is like in the day.
As I lined up behind a Newman, I felt a nudge behind me. I turn to find a certain assailant's familiar face. I wanted to say something but she cuts me off.
Estella: Don't even think about it. I merely forgot to partake for this evening's viand.
Ciel: Alright Ms. fancy pants, duly noted.
