Some child god idk he'll be an asshole when he grows up
--
☀☽ Mātūtīnum ☾☀
Otherwise known as Summoner of night's end, caller of the sun, and chaser of the moon, Mātūtīnum. He also goes by just Māt.
| AGE | ~
Fresh out the stone-wall-womb. Barely one month old.
| GENDER | ~
AMAB; He/Him
| SEXUALITY | ~
Too young to be sure.
| CURSED BY ØDELæGGE? | ~
Nope, considering he's stuck in the sun.
| ABILITIES | ~
Releasing an ear-shatteringly loud thump from his chest like a roar, but it's definitely not. He is much stronger within the faint light of dawn. Technically (psychically) strong enough to move whichever planet he's currently on, which is how he brings about dawnlight.
| SACRED ANIMALS | ~
Nine-banded armadillos, Paca, Prehensile-tailed porcupines, Coyotes, and Turkey vultures.
| SACRED PLANTS | ~
Venice mallow, Clary sage, Daylily, and Perennial Flax.
| APPEARANCE | A rotund and stout little dragon. His wings aren't large enough to enable him to fly just yet, and he often unfolds them out of reflex when there's strong wind. He has manelike, thick, and uncontrollable fur on his cheeks and neck, along with the underside of his tail. He has a cow-like nose and ears, and big yet relaxed eyes that glitter like the sky. It is unclear what color they are. His fur is a gradient from the night sky to the daylight, and his scales, still shifting from being stone to actual flesh and bone, are a dull gray.
-Symbolism
Him pictured diagonally above his sibling, the Dusk, with the sun in the corner above him and a coyote chasing after him. Alternatively, could also be depicted as him reaching out toward the sun with coyotes howling next to him.
-Accessories
He wears a leg brace to keep his legs from crumpling to bits since it was carved a bit incorrectly when he was on the stone tablet. It is made of strong fibers and is never taken off, in fear of his leg falling apart.
| PERSONALITY | A little trickster of a dragon, and although he has a good heart underneath those stony scales, he is much more content to prank his siblings and parents. Of course, when he is offered things he knows that they'll like more, he'll give it to them instead as a gift. However, if he sees something he wants on one of their altars, he will not hesitate to snatch it and stagger away.
-Mental disorders
Either he's narcissistic or compensating for something he thinks he lacks.
-Physical disorders
A shattered leg; Obtained when the dragon who carved him out of stone accidentally bore a few cracks through his knee and didn't bother fixing it.
-Strengths
Enhanced abilities in gathering sunlight.
High volume tolerance.
Able to twist his neck, tail, and spine 360 degrees.
-Weaknesses
Weak child body
Contrary to the dawnlight, he is weaker during dusk and can barely stay awake.
Has one less leg to use in daily activities.
-Opinions on the mortal dragons
Intrigued by them. Look at them, running around like little ants with their sharp sticks and wars! Wonder if he can set them on fire if he uses a bit of glass, too?
-What they accept as an offering
He quite likes berries and will accept small, shiny trinkets. He will graciously accept sun-shaped objects to give them to his mother, Lux. He will also take bat-shaped trinkets to give to his father, Tenebris.
| BACKSTORY | Can't write much here since he isn't hatched yet, but as of now? Being a carving on a stone wall is pretty swag.
-Family
Lux. Mother; Beloved.
Tenebris. Father; Beloved.
Majesty Tre. Eldest sibling; Confused by, but loves.
Faunus. Older sibling; Barely remembers. Like that aunt your mother insists you know at a family gathering.
Flamme. Older sibling; Loves.
