"And... blend." Dustin instructed, leading everyone out of the bathroom. He had decided it was best to wait for the movie to end and to try and leave with everyone else, so that's exactly what they were doing. "Well, shit, that worked." Erica commented, a bit surprised.
Dustin nodded. "Course it worked. Now we just have to get on the bus with the rest of these plebes, and home sweet home, here we come." Steve remembered something he thought Dustin needed to know in that moment. "Uh, Dustin?"
"What?" Dustin questioned lowly, looking at his friend. "Yeah, we might not wanna go to your house." Steve expressed. "Why?" Dustin asked, growing worried. "Well, I might've told them your full name." Dustin looked at Steve shocked. "What is wrong with you?"
"Dude, I was drugged." Steve defended. "So?" Dustin spat out and Steven continued his confusion. "So?" Dustin stared forward. "So, you resist. You tough it out. You tough it out like a man." Steve scoffed. "Oh, yeah, it's easy for you to say."
"Guys?" Robin questioned, noticing something by the exit. Eden looked to where the girl was looking, seeing men in all black standing around checking everyone before they left. "Shit." The blonde cursed.
Everyone else looked too, growing instantly concerned. "Abort." Dustin instructed. Everyone stayed where they were, but then they made eye contact with one of the men. "Abort. Abort." Dustin urged, all of the kids beginning to run the opposite way as the exit.
They pushed past people till they were at the escalators with no escape. "Shit." Robin cursed. She was the first to just make a choice, beginning to slide down the metal part between the two escalators. "Come on, let's go, let's go." Steve urged.
Eden went after Robin, finding herself holding her breath as she slid all the way down to the first floor of the mall. She stood fast, luckily, as Steve came sliding down right behind her.
Once they were all down, it was now time to find somewhere to hide. Steve instantly jumped a concessions counter, hurrying the rest of the group. They all followed, squeezing together to try and hide.
Eden felt her hands begin to shake from the nerves and grabbed onto Steves hand, hoping it could help. He squeezed her hand lightly and she felt the shaking go away just a bit but not all the way as they continued to hide.
Footsteps could be heard all around them as men spoke into their walkie in Russian. Eden couldn't tell how many of them where there, but it was enough to scare the hell out of her.
The footsteps all grew closer after another guard spoke again, freaking Eden out even more. She shut her eyes tight, somehow bringing her knees even closer to her chest than they were before. Her grip on Steves hand never wavered as the footsteps continued to come closer to them.
