AFTER THREE YEARS...

"There.... you're good to go!" Masaya kong sabi.

I fixed Conrad's car. I made the engine fast just like what I always do with mine. Ayaw  niya itong palitan kahit sobrang luma na at bumibigay na yung ibang parte. Ang sabi niya regalo daw ito ng dad niya noong nakapag tapos siya ng training. Kaya nga inaayos ko nalang ito since sanay naman akong humawak ng makina.

"Thank you, babe." He said while smiling. Lumapit siya sakin at hinalikan ng mariin yung labi ko.

"Okay you need to go to work, you'll be late." Paalala ko rito.

"I really hate leaving you here all alone. I just want to be with you all the time." Paglalambing nito.

He's going to do some rounds all over town and stop by at the private property to guard it for a while. Habang maiiwan ako rito sa cabin. Nasanay naman na ako, tsaka ginagawa kong busy yung sarili ko gaya ng paglilinis or pagluto. I'm sure my mom would be proud because I know how to clean and do my own laundry.

Conrad gave me a last kiss before going inside his car. I gave him a wave as he started to drive away.

Pumasok na uli ako sa loob ng cabin at nagtungo sa living room. I forgot that the TV was on. Nanonood kasi ng balita si Conrad habang nagaalmusal ito kanina—-

"We have the re-elected Governor Cameron Archival Tyson as our guest for today."

Re-elected? So I guess he won again like he always wanted.

Napaupo ako sa sofa at tinuon yung pansin sa TV. Archival have changed, I mean his looks. Halatang lumaki yung katawan nito, did he started to work out? Nagmukha itong matanda dahil sa beard niya, I always tell him to shave since I never liked when his beard touches my face.

He looks tired just by staring into his eyes. I'm sure he's busy with his usual work, he probably forgot about me.

"It's good to have you back as our Governor, Mr. Tyson. So how are you? Last time you were on our show, you were with Ms. Astrid Carter."

Napayuko si Archi nang banggitin yung pangalan ko. I still remember that, I had an interview with that show at kasama si Archi. We also confirmed about our relationship.

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have mention—-"

"It's fine, Jeremy. I'm just missing her a lot."

I-I missed you too, Arch. But its too bad that things didn't worked for us. Hanggang ngayon binabangungot pa rin ako dahil sa nangyari. You don't know how sorry I am for what happened. I still blamed myself for what happened to our baby.

"Wow. Ms. Astrid has been missing for three years, you still haven't gotten over her?"

"I have no plans on moving on, I always know she'll come back to me."

"I hope she comes back indeed. You two were the most popular couple who dated. I mean think about it... The Governor of New York is dating the Yoshida-Carter heiress. "
