Chapter 16: Strelizia's Pride

A/N: Since Peruvian is now out of Commission for the most part of this Series, Kuroku will be piloting with not one, but two other Pistols.

*Insert Intro*

After the last Mission, Peruvian has been covered by the Virm Kuroku destroyed. Shichiku was now wondering what would happen now that it's out of commission and what would that mean for the pilots.

She looked around Peruvian, mostly on the purple side.

Shichiku: Not good. What was Kuroku thinking?

She took some readings from the Goo and realised something about it.

After what happened and since everyone heard about what happened to Peruvian, Kuroku thought he wasn't needed anymore, since it was his fault for losing Peruvian.

Hiro was walking down the hall until he met up with Ikuno and Futoshi, since they were some of the victims inside the Virm's Hive.

Hiro: I'm guessing you two haven't heard from Kuroku?

Ikuno: Not after Peruvian got covered.

Hiro: That wasn't his plan I'm guessing.

Futoshi: But at least he's still in our Squad.

Naomi: I don't think that will be long for him.

Naomi then came there way.

Hiro: What?

Naomi: Well after everything that started happening, from almost endangering us, finding out who he is and infecting Peruvian, he said he's going to be away for a while. I don't know what that means?

Hiro thought about what she said and realised something. He then quickly headed to Kuroku's room and opened it. Everyone else followed.

Once Hiro opened the door, they saw Kuroku was packing up everything.

Hiro: Kuroku, what are you doing?

Kuroku then looked at everyone as he went back to packing.

Kuroku: Well since I feel like this is happening because of me, I've decided to head back to my house. I didn't want to tell you all because if I did, you would of given me some advice why I should stay, but they won't work because no matter what I do, I'll make everything worst!

Futoshi: C'mon, don't say that.

Ikuno: We're just starting.

Kuroku then got mad and glared at everyone.

Kuroku: And guess what, I'm ending it!

He then went back to packing, thinking they were still caring for him. Then the alarm went off, meaning a new mission.

Kuroku: Great!

Naomi: You mean your still wanting to do a mission?

Kuroku: I mean since I feel like I'm not part of the Squad, It's also the better time to resign, right?

What everyone wasn't expecting was they were being overheard by someone else.

After heading to the Plantation, the Squad was having a brief meeting about the main mission at hand: The Meteor.

Shichiku: After you all got information from what was inside the Hive, we have discovered something about the thing you found.

The screen then shows the creatures, seeing they were more than something else.

Shichiku: And after the mission, you all are now one FranXX short: Peruvian.

Kuroku looked down after she said that, now feeling worst.
