Chapter 17: Beginning of the End

A/N: Now this Chapter will be what I was waiting for, the battle between the Original and the Clone!

Kuroku was in the hanger bay, looking around Peruvian as some engineers were still trying to find a way to sort out the goo. He then remembered what happened to it when he used the Magma Blades on the Virm.

Kuroku: What is wrong with me?

He was keeping his distance from it because he didn't want to distract them. Then Nana came into the hanger, looking for him.

Nana: Anything wrong?

He looked behind, finding her standing there.

Kuroku: Just...thinking about every stupid thing I was doing when I was piloting Peruvian. I feel like everything I was doing, I make things worst for my Squad then everything they did in the other Universe.

Nana looked at the FranXX, as the Goo was nowhere cleaning off.

Nana: Well I'm sorry for Peruvian standing down, but we still need you to stop all of this.

Kuroku: How?

Nana: I didn't want to stay this until the meeting, but this will be the first united FranXX army battle.

Kuroku was interested in what she just said, but he then got distracted from a hovering sound coming from outside.

Nana: Perfect timing. We should get to the meeting.

Both of them then headed to the Meeting room.

*Insert Intro*

Everyone was in the meeting room to discuss what is going on.

Shichiku: Since you all may have already heard, Kuroku will be with another Pistol and FranXX. Due to an upcoming mission, we'll require all of you to be prepared for what's to come.

Everyone did hear what will happen next, but they were also distracted from the noises coming from the Hanger.

Shichiku: And since we learned Kuroku is compatible with a Klaxosaur Clone, but we also thought what would happen if he was capable with a full Klaxosaur?

Kuroku: Reichi.

Zero Two then growled in jeliousy, getting Hiro's attention.

Shichiku: I know this isn't the ideal plan, but it's all we have in order to guess what the Virm are really hiding. Since we know too much, they won't let us get far.

Everyone had to agree on that request.

Nana: The FranXX won't be operational until the next day so you all can head home to rest. We'll tell all of you more until we have something else to say.

Naomi then wanted to say something before they left.

Naomi: Wait, what about me and Peru-

She didn't ask quickly then she saw them both leave. Kuroku and Hiro was then concern about her, since she was only for Peruvian.

Kuroku: Naomi...

Before he and Hiro could tell her what's wrong, she looked like she wasn't well.

Everyone was heading down the halls back to the Station. Kuroku was thinking about Naomi as Hiro and Zero Two were following him.

Hiro: Something going on in your mind?

Kuroku looked at both Pilots of Strelizia, as he was worried about Naomi.

Kuroku: Ok listen, before Meeting Zero, in the other world, I mean...

Zero Two: I feel like everything from that world has you mysterious, huh?
