AN: contains drug use, and sexual scenes
I had just gotten out of math after an hour of my teacher lecturing the class about wasting time. Ironic right?
Making my way to the cafeteria for lunch I was planning to tell my friends about the hypocrite I had to listen to.
Sitting down at the table I fell into conversation with my friends like usual discussing the day and weekend plans.
"Y/n what are you doing tonight?" Jess asked me from across the table.
"I gotta babysit Henderson for the weekend till Sunday while his mom is gone." I said.
This wasn't unusual as I had been babysitting Dustin for years. Now that I was a senior, Mrs. Henderson would occasionally ask me to stay at the house and just make sure it and he were taken care of when she had family emergencies. Although he was a high schooler now, the kid was still well, a kid.
"Speaking of that, I should go check and see what snacks he wants me to grab." With that I stood up from the group to find the band of misfits Dustin had acquainted himself with.
I knew Gareth from a small project we did in english earlier in the year and Jeff was my locker neighbor but we never communicated with each other. Just small nods of hello if eye contact was ever made. The leader of their group, Eddie, always interested me however. It's not that I liked him, I didn't even know him, but he was just such a character to the world I was curious to see what he was really like.
The Hellfire club was always something I was intrigued by from afar, but once Dustin and Mike were in the group I knew I could now potentially get in.
Growing up on the same street as Dustin the two of you were practically the sibling the other never had. And that of course meant I was apart of all their childhood dnd campaigns.
I loved the game, and had fun playing with Nancy and the 4 boys, but once Nancy stopped hanging around I felt bad for intruding on the younger boys and felt somewhat out of place. Distancing myself, Dustin and I grew apart until I was just his occasional babysitter. He'd watch movies and sometimes play cards when I was over, nothing like when we were kids, however.
I dismissed my thoughts as I approached the table standing behind Dustin.
I flipped his hat off and ruffled his hair asking, "What snacks do you want for later, nerd?"
Dustin clearly a little mad replied, "I have Hellfire tonight so I don't care, just get what you want."
He turned back towards the table before whipping back around, "Oh can you actually take me and Mike there and then pick us up later?"
"Does your mother drive you to Hellfire every week?" I asked through gritted teeth.
Dustin looked at Mike confused, "No.. but-"
"Well then I guess that's above my pay grade as your babysitter." I replied smiling sweetly at him.
The rest of the table besides Mike laughed.
I looked up when I heard someone clapping.
Eddie Munson was laughing as he looked at Dustin."Henderson I didn't know you still needed a babysitter?" Eddie practically screamed from across the table.
Dustin now looked really upset and the inner instinct of being his older sister for years kicked in.
