AN: violence and swearing warning

Yes you're kind of OP, No I don't care lmao. Just enjoy being a badass.

Eddie was still wrapped up in my arms when I saw another set of headlights.

"Fuck let's pray that's our people." I said shoving the tarp back over him.

I heard the walkie go off and Dustin's voice whispered from the small machine. "Eddie it's just us, don't worry."

"Oh thank god." Eddie breathed out throwing the tarp off.

Everyone walked in and looked at the two of us.

Nancy looked at me concerned but didn't say anything.

The entire group was silent until Dustin walked in carrying two bags from the store.

"Alright, Eddie we got you a bunch of different stuff so-" Dustin stopped mid sentence when he noticed the awkwardness among everyone else.

While the group looked between each other and Eddie, I took this as an opportunity to change the subject away from the elephant in the room.

"Jason stopped by, we need to find somewhere safer for Eddie." I said quietly.

"WHAT? Did he know you were here?!" Dustin screeched out.

"Y/n saved me actually and threw them off the trail. They'll be looking everywhere until I'm found, though." Eddie said defeatedly.

"Alright we need to hide you somewhere safe. Any ideas?" Nancy sighed out.

"My mom wouldn't know if we snuck him in there." Max offered.

"Yeah, but your trailer is literally right across the street from... where the incident occurred." Dustin said shutting down that idea.

"I'd offer my house but my parents are home this week." Steve sighed out.

Everyone else's parents were home as well as they each stated their own reason why they couldn't.

"Dad went with my mom for a two week European vacation yesterday." I said looking at Eddie.

He smiled at me before saying, "Sleepover at y/n's, just like old times."

I smiled back at him.

"Did you two like... make up while we were gone?" Max asked slightly amused.

"Something like that." Both Eddie and I said in unison before smiling at each other again.

"Alright we'll still have to be slick about sneaking you out of here, throw that tarp over yourself and you'll have to lie down in the backseat." Steve said.

"Can I ride with you?" Eddie asked me.

"Did you really miss me that much?" I asked jokingly.

"Yes but you also have a way better music taste than The Hair over there." Eddie said as we all began shuffling out of the boathouse.
