When I left the garage, I went back upstairs to the room where I was staying. And I stayed there for the remainder of the night, and the next day. Nobody came to get me out of there, so that's where I stayed, sleeping for most of the time. I wasn't sure how I was so tired, especially since I had just woken from passing out.
But there I stayed, shifting from sleeping to playing on my phone, still half asleep. I didn't bother going out to see what was happening in the rest of the house.
Around the afternoon, there was a knock on my door and after a minute I stood from the bed, opening the door quietly before noticing the tray on the floor. I looked around the hallway, but nobody was there.
I picked up the tray from the ground and closed the door behind me, putting the tray on the desk. It was a sandwich, a cup of juice, and a side of fries and salad. Phil seems to have gone all out. I wonder if this is what they normally eat. I'm not sure.
I don't bother eating. I wasn't hungry. I just went back and sat down on the bed, curling up in a ball before going back to my phone. I didn't want to move.
I stayed like that for a few more hours. When I finally moved, it was because a loud noise outside the door startled me. I stood from the bed, and walked to the door, opening it up and looking outside.
In the room next door, everyone else was crowded around the door. I walked behind them, easily looking over their heads.
In the room, George was sat on the ground, the room only lit by a candle. It was after 10, and the power was out, so the candle wasn't surprising.
Phil was holding George tightly in a hug, and George was muttering something quickly, tears streaming from his eyes, his glasses nearly falling.
Karl, Sapnap (Quackity had told me to call him that instead of Nick) and Quackity also shared the room, but I was slightly surprised to see Karl still sleeping, George's scream not having woken him. On the other hand, Quackity and Sapnap were on the floor, Quackity's playing cards spread out on the floor in front of them. Quackity was listening intently to what George was muttering, looking carefully at the cards before picking a few up, making a pile before offering them out to Sapnap, asking him to pick a card.
After Sapnap grabbed a card, Quackity looked at it, his eyes glowing a soft yellow, lighting up the area around them. His eyebrows lowered in concentration and his eyes got brighter before they dimmed again, a sigh escaping his lips.
Phil seemed to notice how everyone else had gathered around the door.
"Everything is ok everyone. You guys can go back to bed. Why don't you stay with me for the rest of the night George?" Phil asked, and George nodded "Alex, make sure to write down everything. Everything" He emphasised the last word, and Quackity nodded, collecting his playing cards and grabbing a notebook from his desk, climbing into the bed under Karl's.
Phil walked out of the room, pulling George along, who gave us a nervous smile before following Phil to Phil's room. Slowly, the little crowd went away, Tommy getting dragged away by Wilbur to their room, Fundy in his arm. Techno stayed behind with me, closing the door of the triplets and Sapnap.
"Don't understand?" He asked, and I nodded, extremely confused. "Come with me" He walked towards the room I was staying in, opening the door and then stopping, waiting for me to follow him.
I followed him into the room I was staying in, sitting on the bed while he took my desk chair.
"What did you hear George saying" He was most likely talking about George's muttering. I racked my brain to think of anything I might have heard him say.
"I think there was something about a search, and maybe a fire?" He had been speaking so quietly, mostly talking to Phil and Quackity.
Techno just nodded, sighing quietly. "As already mentioned, we, like you, have powers. We've been trying to figure out how someone gets powers, but we think it has something to do with genetics. Which would make sense, given the powers of the triplets are all connected slightly"
"What do you mean by that?"
"Quackity uses the cards to read the future, Karl randomly gets visions of the future. Finally, George sees prophecies while he sleeps. Never good prophecies. Always something to do with murder and death." He seemed to notice the fearful look on my face "It's fine though. Usually it looks really big but is something really small. Last time George thought it was a war or something, but a cat just ended up getting out and ran away. When we found them, they were dead, and George immediately recognised it as his vision. Some of the visions haven't come true. We think he might sometimes see a future that is less likely to happen. "
I calmed down slightly by this, but there was still a large fear in me. I didn't let it show. Techno apologised for maybe scaring me, but then wished me a goodnight before leaving, telling me to come to him if I had any questions.
I stayed quiet, waving to him as he left. I locked the door behind him, knowing I needed some time to think.
Fires. They definitely liked arson.
Search. They were definitely searching for me.
Even though Techno tried to reassure me about the future possibly not happening or not being severe, I knew that it could still happen. My heart thumped faster in my chest as I laid there on the bed.
I needed to get my plan done. I needed to get out of here. I needed to leave.
They were coming for me.
