They lay there for a few moments. Harry cradling Louis's head under his arm, his thumb stroking over his flushed cheek. " I wanna stay here forever," Louis whispers. Harry smiles and kisses his lips gingerly. "Me too my love...but we have to go, we don't have much more time before dawn breaks." Harry whispers. Louis nods and gives Harry one more kiss to the lips before standing up and getting dressed. Harry follows close after him and soon they are grabbing a few belongings and planning their escape.
"Louis, where will we go?" Harry whispers.
"The Italian Riviera." Louis whispers back, noting Harry's look of confusion. "There's a summer cottage there, we normally rent it out to visitors but there's no one there right now and it's far enough that your brother won't be able to find us."
"How will we get there? The Riviera is almost two days by car, Louis?"
"There is a jet waiting for us at the private port, no one knows except my boys and they want to help us." Louis says.
"A jet? H-how?"
"Liam's grandparents own a jet, he said he needed it for an emergency and apparently they didn't ask any questions" Louis smiles to himself, but quickly becomes concerned when he sees the worries look on Harry's face. "Harry, angel, it's going to be okay. I know this is scary, but I promise it will all get better soon. Once we're at the cottage, no one can hurt us. I'll call my parents and get their blessing, we'll end this stupid feud, I'll marry you in front of everyone, i'll hold you every morning and make love to you every night, I'll-"
"Louis," Harry interrupts, a smile blossoming on his face as he leans in to kiss Louis passionately. "I'd follow you to the end of the earth, let's go my love."
Louis smiles and they begin to take off down the balcony. Luckily no one trips this time and they make a smooth exit off the property and onto the street where Niall and Liam are waiting for them. They jump in the car and are taking off down the dark street before they can even close the door.
"You both better come back" Niall breaks the silence, turning around to look at them.
"We will, I promise" Louis says, reaching a hand out to rest it on Niall's shoulder and squeezing it.
The rest of the car ride is silent, everyone slightly on edge and aware that the police might be looking for them at that very moment. It seems like they're driving forever before they eventually make the turn into the lot. There's a huge garage and as they turn the corner, they see the Jet peeking out from the open garage door. The pilot stands in the opening, smiling and giving a small waive as they park and begin to gather their belongings.
"Well, guess this is goodbye for now boys." Louis says with a teary grin. "I can't thank you guys enough for everything."
"Of course Louis" Niall says, bringing him into a crushing hug, the rest of the boys coming around him to make a group hug. They break away, with one last farewell as Louis and Harry begin to climb the stairs of the jet.
"We love you guys!" Harry shouts.
"Love you both!" Niall and Liam shout back before getting in their car and driving off.
They take their seats and buckle their seatbelts next to each other. Louis snakes his arm around Harry's waist and pulls him in close to kiss his head.
"Everything is going to be okay now my love." Louis whispers.
"I love you more than I ever thought I could love someone Louis." Harry whispers back, lifting his chin to give Louis a chaste kiss.
"I love you too my darling." Louis says back.
"Louis?" Harry asks suddenly. Louis hums in response, turning his head down to look at him. "Tell me what the Italian Riviera will be like." He says.
"Well..." Louis whispers. The plane begins to make its run down the freeway. "The cottage is on the end of a beautiful cliff, where the bay water splashes against the shore." The plane takes off into the sky. "There are wild flowers everywhere, white and purple, and the air smells like lavender and oranges." Harry smiles against his chest. "The cottage is small and when the sun sets it shines through all the windows and makes it look golden." Louis continues, pressing kisses to the top of Harry's head. "I'll make you your favorite tea every morning, we'll drink fresh wine from the vineyards and make love in the bay and the garden..." Louis lifts Harry;s chin to give him another kiss to the lips.
"Sounds like heaven." Harry says, leaning in for another kiss. Slow and sweet, like their love.
And it was like heaven. Harry and Louis made a life in their small cottage. They planted a garden and swam in the bay. They made friends with the locals who taught them how to make fresh bread. They made love in the light of the morning, to the sounds of the water, they made love in the pitch dark, under the moon and stars. Louis never stopped waking Harry up with kisses and telling him how much he loved him, and Harry never stopped being unconditionally in love with Louis. They lived happily, and eventually everyone learned to accept their love. Louis proposed to Harry on the shore line of the bay and Harry cried and then said yes. Their wedding was small but filled with love, and for the first time in history, the Styles and Tomlinsons existed in harmony. And this harmony existed only because two sworn enemies fell in love.
