Ark: The Path To Remnant. (Ark x RWBY)

A new discovery.

3rd person pov:

Raymond: "Today feels like it's gonna be an interesting one."

Raymond heads back inside to take inventory of his supplies.

Raymond: "So it looks like I need hide, meat, metal, and obsidian. Well then let's get to it."

Raymond heads over to his room and grabs his hatchet, canteen, and pick before holding the door open.

Raymond: "Fang let's go for a walk pal. We need supplies."

Fang immediately rushes out the door as Raymond stays back and shuts his door and makes sure it's locked before they start their excursion. After three days of constant travel Raymond spots a familiar location.

Raymond: "Ha This is where I woke up. Still untamed by those savages."

Meanwhile on the island itself:
Velvet pov:

A young woman about 18 years old is seen washed up on the islands shore. She's seen waking up and rubbing her head. Her name is Velvet Scarlatina. She has long brown hair and a matching pair of eyes with a pair of brown bunny ears. Just like Raymond when he arrived all she is wearing is crudely made undergarments.

(How she looks)

Velvet: "Ugh my head is throbbing. What happened? The last thing I remember is that machine."

She then notices what she's wearing.

Velvet: "AHHHHHH! W-where are my clothes, where's my camera, and where am I?"

Velvet wanders around a bit when she catches a male with a bow, quiver, and what appears to be a hyena. She approaches not knowing what's going on.

Velvet: "Hello! Excuse me sir!"

Raymond pov:

Raymond hears a womans voice and looks to see a woman with bunny ears on her head approach him.

Raymond: "Another survivor? They seem confused about the island. And are those bunny ears on her head?"

Raymond looks in her direction.

Raymond: "Hey there ma'am. I take it you're new to the island?"

She's seen approaching him.

???: "Sorry to bother you, but do you know where Vale is?"

Raymond looks at her confused.

Raymond: "Vale? Never heard of it? But if it's supplies you need feel free to join me on my excursion. After all the more the merrier."

Fang starts to growl and looks towards some foliage.

Raymond instinctively grabs his bow and loads an arrow as he gets in between the unknown thing behind said foliage. Raymond speaks in a cold and commanding voice

Raymond: "Stay behind me."

???: "What? Why?"

Suddenly a Raptor rushes out of the bushes as Raymond quickly releases the arrow. The arrow pierces its skull killing the Raptor instantly.

Raymond turns to look at the odd woman. She looks absolutely petrified.

Raymond: "Are you alright?"

???: "What was that thing?"

Raymond pulls out his journal.

Raymond: "Utahraptor Prime, commonly referred to as a Raptor."

Raymond turns to the Raptor dossier and hands it to her.

Raymond: "Now if you don't mind me asking."

Raymond starts to move forward. As she instinctively follows.

Raymond: "What's the situation with those bunny ears? I mean are they some kind of fashion statement?"

She looks up from Raymond's journal and looks at him surprised.

???: "I'm a faunus? I was born with them."

Raymond laughs loudly completely caught off gaurd by her answer.

Raymond: "HAHAHAHAHA AH AH HAHAHAHAHA! Oh my god I haven't laughed that hard in ages!"

She looks annoyed at him, but waits for him to calm down.

Raymond: "No, but seriously why are you wearing those and who made them? That is some really convincing craftsmanship."

???: "I'm telling you they're real."

Raymond: "Oh yeah? Then what if I did THIS!"

Raymond quickly grabs one of them and tugs hard and fast resulting in the ears not coming off and her screaming in pain. He steps back and he's completely surprised.

Raymond: "T-t-they are real."

She's seen holding her ear in pain and looks at him with tears in her eyes.

???: "I told you they were! Here take your stupid journal."

She throws it a Raymond as he catches it and chases after her.

Raymond: "Hey wait! You shouldn't wander around by yourself! It's dangerous!"

So Raymond chases after her to try to save her from the dangers of the island.
