Velvet pov:

Velvet wakes up to find out that the events from yesterday were real.

Velvet: "So it wasn't a dream."

She thinks back to the events of yesterday. Especially about what Raymond said.

Velvet: "There can't possibly be other worlds that can support life, but he seemed genuinely confused about the Grimm, Dust, and Remnant."

She is snapped out of her thoughts by a scratching at her door. She opens it to reveal Raymond's Hyena. It then starts pushing her out of the room where she sees Raymond with a blowtorch and a face cover.

Velvet: "Morning."

No response, but then Raymond's Hyena approaches him and nips his leg.

Raymond: "AH! Fang what the hell?!"

Raymond then looks behind him.

Raymond: "Oh mornin'. How did you sleep?"

Velvet: "I slept well thanks. What're you working on?"

Raymond: "Oh, I'm working on some gear for you."

Velvet: "What kind of gear?"

Raymond: "Well clothes for starters. I'm also making a hatchet and pick for you."

Velvet: "Why a hathet and pick?"

Raymond: "They are standard issue tools to help gather resources."

Velvet: "Why would I need to gather resources?"

Raymond: "To make your own home."

Velvet: "You're just gonna kick me out?"

Raymond: "No of course not. Rockwell taught me that a gentleman never kicks his guests out without reason. I was just thinking that you'd want to live on your own at some point."

Just then Velvet's ears twitch and hears something in the distance. As Fang starts running around the workshop.

Raymond: "They're on their way already? It's only been two weeks since their last visit."

Velvet: "Do you hear that too?"

Raymond: "Does it sound like music?"

Velvet: "Yeah."

Raymond: "Yep it's them."

Velvet: "Who?"

Raymond: "The Old Island Alliance."

Velvet: "Old Island Alliance?"

Raymond is seen heading to the fridge and pulls out 10 Lamb Chops, 5 bowls of Lazarus Chowder, 1 bowl of Calien Soup, and 6 large jars of beer. Each jar as large as a rooster.

Raymond: "They're the other survivors I told you about."

Velvet: "Are they dangerous?"

Raymond: "Only towards the Blackhearts."

Velvet: "So they're allies."

Raymond: "Yep. They usually come around to escape Blackheart territory and recover."

Velvet: "Recover from what?"

Raymond: "Their skirmishes with the Blackhearts and wildlife. I welcome them, and in turn they share cave locations."

Velvet: "Why cave locations?"

Raymond: "So I can find them."

Before Velvet can inquire further a knock is heard on the door. Raymond answers. They then see four people at the door. A man speaks. He sounds like he's from a high class background. He has a harp hanging from his waist. His hair is a golden blonde with blue eyes, and a sophisticated demeanor.
