Cave diving.

3rd person pov:

Raymond is seen sitting on his bed looking at the map of the island in his journal with marks representing the locations of caves and a GPS.

Raymond: "Let me think. If I head for the cave closest to the volcano I won't have to worry about going back there, but it's dangerously close to the Blackhearts headquarters. Or I could go to the cave near where I found Velvet which is a longer journey, but far from the Blackhearts reach."

He lays down on his bed looking at the bottom of the bunk beds higher matress and sighs.

Raymond: "Where did you three go? Did you find a way off this island, or did you die trying?"

He sits back up and looks over at his equipment. He stands up and gets it all on before heading to the workshop and making a note for Velvet.

Raymond: "Either way. I'll do everything I can to find those answers."

He heads for the door, but stops as he's opening the door feeling Fang nuzzle against his leg. Raymond crouches and pets Fang.

Raymond: "Stay here pal. Velvet might need your help. I promise to return."

He heads out and shuts the door behind him.

Raymond: "Time to try again, but this time failure isn't an option."

Raymond then runs through the forest as the sun starts to rise after several minutes.

Velvet pov:

Velvet is seen waking up and heading into the workshop. Fang approaches her and starts whimpering.

Velvet: "What's the matter Fang?"

He motions towards the table and that's when she notices the note she picks it up and starts reading it.

Note:

"Dear Velvet,

I've gone out to retrieve one of the artifacts. I'll be gone for a while, but I will be back. Please take care of Fang and help yourself to anything around the workshop.

Sincerely Raymond.

P.S. DO NOT ENTER THAT OTHER ROOM!"

Velvet: "What is he thinking?! He couldn't do it before, so what makes him think he can take it on again?!"

Fang yips at her.

Velvet looks towards Fang and notices one of Raymond's arrows in front of Fang.

Velvet: "Wait you can track him right?"

Fang yips again and starts panting.

Velvet: "Well then let's go after him. I just need to prepare first."

She looks around and notices another door in the workshop. It has a sign above it called storage.

Velvet: "How many rooms does this place have?"

She opens it and sees several safes each with a different label on it. She heads for the one labeled weapons and opens it. In it are 3 assault rifles, 4 compound bows, 7 pistols, 6 primitive revolvers, a pump-action shotgun, 2 double barrel shotguns, a rocket launcher, 3 sniper rifles, 4 swords, 2 pikes, 24 grenades, 15 C4 explosives, 10 crossbows, and 3 primitive rifles.

Velvet: "Why does he have so many weapons? I'll ask him later."

She grabs a sword, an assault rifle, and a pistol. She turns her attention to the ammo box located next to the door. She proceeds to grab 15 magazines for the assault rifle and 20 clips for the pistol. She then heads outside with Fang.
