Errich brings both of his swords in a cross slash that causes gouts of blood to gush from the torn torso of one of the lizardfolk warriors.

The dwarves regroup with Errich and try to establish another spearhead with him as the tip, the combined might of the dwarven front finishes off the injured lizardfolk warrior engaged with Errich and another weaker one, the fight is still just about even on this side.

Zavari slings a bolt of fire that slams into the side of the guard drake as the beast leaps through the air towards one of the dwarves, causing it to tumble a few feet before regaining its footing.

The final guardsman draws her hand crossbow and shoots a bolt that sinks into the neck of one of the remaining grunts, causing it to collapse in a heap. Alain spins with his mace and slams the blunt end into the shield of one of the large warriors, dealing little damage. He calls out in Grym and Zasheida's direction.

"I need to get to Thokk, he's not looking good!"

Zasheida sends another bolt of chaotic energy that turns into a bubbling acid. The stream hits the warrior engaged with Alain, causing it to hiss in agony as part of the scales on its upper thigh burn away to reveal bloody light pink flesh.

Grym goes into a headlong charge, taking a sideways slash from one of the warriors between him and Alain as he charges in to clear a path for the cleric.

Then another volley rains down. The last human warrior gets struck by a crossbow bolt and an arrow but still barely stands, Grym is impacted by 2 more bolts and 2 more arrows. His wildshaped bear form, barely maintaining from the damage.

One of the broodguards falls, a blade being withdrawn from the chest of 'That-one'. A low guttural hiss escapes its mouth as it bleeds out and dies.

Another broodguard is struck by a club from one of the smaller grunts. The broodguard cranes its long neck to look at the assailant.

The guardsman is there one moment, then their head tumbles to the ground at Zasheida's feet. A lizardfolk warrior finishing a heavy swing turns toward Alain and Grym, they rush forward and jab their blade into Alain's back, finding a gap in the plate armor.

All bolts and arrows from the volley seem to be focused on Errich, with the exception of the one arrow that lodges into the eye of a dwarf by the halfling's side, Errich is under heavy, focused fire.

Two bolts and an arrow catch him across his side and arm, but he remains standing.

The guard drake leaps onto one of the dwarves and rips them apart with its massive claws and razor-sharp teeth. In that same breath, the lizardfolk warriors that remain cleave through another dwarf and begin to surround the final one, separating them from Errich using their bodies.

Zavari calls out to Zasheida

"I think the right is done for, we need Thokk or Alain or fucking anybody really to get over there!"

Zasheida looks over for a moment, then looks back to their own predicament.

She replies.

"If you haven't noticed, both sides are basically gone. We casters are only still up because of my broodguards. So think of something yourself while I figure out how to salvage this."

They both spin back to their respective sides and shoot a torrent of arcane missiles. The guard drake on Errich's side once again takes the impact of the barrage, while the warrior battling Alain is riddled and collapses.

Then a thought crosses Zavari's mind.

"Didn't they send two guard drakes to the right side? Where's the other one."
