"Find me?" A confused Teresa asks.

"Yes, a bunch of Emma's pictures with nothing but find me" I explain.

I had quickly called up Teresa and Allison after discovering the pictures. I hadn't a clue on when, why, or who had done it, but what I was sure of is that this was more than a prank.

"I don't know kat maybe we should tell the police about this it might help with the case" Teresa advises as she sits besides me. I take a big gulp of my water before replying her.

"What would the police do? They'd just tell us it's some sort of prank" I retort. It wasn't a lie that that was what the police would say, but my main reason was because I was determined to find Emma my self.

"I guess you're right.. this town is notorious for pranks like these during cases" Allison agrees.".. but we have to do something" she adds.

"That's the thing what do we do?" I ask. A moment of silence goes by as we stare at one another.

"I got it! Tonight let's all meet up at the carnival where Emma was last seen, we'll ask some questions and since we aren't cops I think people will be more willing to give us info" Teresa explains.

" Well I'm fine with that, Patricia is having a dinner with her son tonight so she won't care" I reply.

" Goodluck with that, alright I'll see you all at eight?" Allison asks and we nod.

I make my way out of their house and down to my car, looking over at Emma's house it feels unnatural knowing she isn't there anymore.

Entering my car drive out of the driveway and onto their street. I made sure to get rid of the pictures, leaving them in a bag I had left with Allison and Teresa for safe keeping, I don't think I'd be able to get home safely knowing they were in the car with me. But although the thought of Emma's potential captor having access to my car scaring me, I couldn't help wonder who could have possibly taken Emma.

She was the kindest and most genuine person I knew, Everyone loved her, and even when we fought, I still did too.

The only possible person who could have taken her was me since the last time we saw we fought, but unless the side effect of my drug filled life was extreme memory loss, I couldn't have done it.

Lost in thought I hadn't even noticed when I made it to my home. The first thing I notice was that Patricia's car wasn't in the driveway, so luckily for me I could spend the rest of the afternoon alone.

I get to my room and plop onto the bed, today has to be one of the strangest I've had in my life.

And that's saying something.

I change out of my clothes which seem to be suffocating me in the warmth of my room compared to the cold outside.

Slipping into a sweatshirt and shorts I lay back down trying not to think too much about today. My eyes make their way to a purple box placed by my closet.

.."happy birthday Kat!..".

Emma's voice rang through the empty void that was my mind. I hadn't even opened her gift since the day she gave it to me, so I decide to open it again, who knows, maybe I could use it to take pictures of clues when we go to the carnival tonight, I'd use her gift to find her.

How ironic.

Opening it I noticed that the packing had been touched and the camera laid open, Asif I had used it before.

That was strange, I'm pretty sure no one has touched it.

I decide to push the thought aside and put the camera into the bag I planned on taking with me tonight.

Suddenly I'm hit with a jolt of pain stinging the back of my head. It was Asif Someone had just hit me with an iron rid or something.

Although my disoriented state I look around to see nothing but a dark figure looming behind me.

"W-who are you?" I stutter feeling myself loose consciousness slowly. The figure doesn't reply but instead stares back at me. I'm barely able to make out a face, although the figure looks my height and infact my age.

Could this be someone I knew?

Someone from school?

Before I could figure it out, my world goes blank and I'm drawn into a cold silence.
