"hyungs! we'll be late! come on!" chan yells, rushing through the gates.
"we literally don't have classes anymore, i still don't get why you're so fussy about being punctual- hey! do you even know where you're going? ya! lee chan!" seungkwan stresses, they'd been running in circles for the past 8 minutes now. it's not like they don't know the academy but somehow none of them got to hear the announcement of where the meeting for the stage play would occur.
their classes were divided and merged with different sections of different levels. and since it's their first year in this academy, they didn't know anyone of their assigned members. but they probably know eachother and just forgot to discuss it with them, probably why they're here, circling around the area, checking on every available room in hopes to find their theatre members.
this is the last quarter of their school year, and their first ever stage play. of course, each of them wants to do their absolute best in order to be worthy of their being their members. they'll show them that they're someone they could count on even if they're years apart.
"did they seriously left us out? could they possibly ditched us? seriously, chan, if they're still not there in that room i swear-"
chan swung the door violently, revealing an empty classroom.
seungkwan took a deep breath, "are you kidding me-"
"hey! what took you guys so long?" they all whipped their head to the source of the sound, revealing, kwon soonyoung. seungkwan frowned, vernon noticed this and patted his back. "we were waiting for you guys, we're pretty sure you didn't get to discuss the meeting place with us back in our room yesterday." vernon explained, calmly.
"seungkwan thought you all ditched us!" chan snickered, earning a glare and a kick from seungkwan, making him tumble down and groan in pain.
soonyoung looked amused, "we? ditching you?" he played along.
"he totally said that, right, vernon hyung- oW!" chan hissed in pain, rubbing his head where seungkwan had smacked.
vernon sighs, "excuse them, they're always like this." soonyoung hums, "i can tell." he laughs.
"anyways- we better get going, seungcheol would get furious any minute now. just follow me, we'll be taking our time to plan in the cafe. you know, the one just across the street." soonyoung leads them, they followed behind with a slight distance.
"i knew it! they totally ditched us! the cafe isn't even inside this academy-" seungkwan leaned on chan's ear to whisper-complain.
chan tsked, rolling his eyes. "whatever, hyung. at least we have company now." he whispered back.
hearing the commotion, vernon sped up his pace, now infront of the two. soonyoung noticed this and chuckled, "better stop whatever that argument is about, because, we're here!" and there they were, in front of caia cafe.
as they have entered, everything sounded so..
noisy, but in a good way.
it was lively.
the slightly dimmed cafe lights were beautiful, the fragrance of pastries and beverages mixed well, the setting, the aesthetic, everything was pleasing.
soonyoung gave them a grin, before leading them to their table which his friends were discussing about the plot.
the trio noticed that they combined the tables and chairs into one so that all of them could sit together, they smiled at the thought.
as they approach the table, soonyoung dragged three seats for them and placed it next to his seat, they thanked him after.
soonyoung sat, they followed. beside soonyoung, his boyfriend, jihoon noticed his presence and as well as the other new comers. jihoon yanked his uniform's collar, pulling him in for a kiss, mumbling a; "welcome back."
