Third Person POV:

Ever since the world went to shit, everyone has died. Except Dan and Phil. People started feasting on each other. It was absolutely disgusting. It made Dan and Phil want to throw up just thinking about it. Then when they thought it couldn't get any worse, the dead came back to life. They started the process all over again. They ate animals, people, pretty much anything alive. Dan and Phil survived. They had weapons. They had a brain that they could actually use. So they were fine. For now, at least.

As of now, they were running to a supermarket to get supplies for some of their group. It was the safer part of town, and this was where they usually go. But, zombies don't stop moving of course. For a while, their group had gotten sick. In the middle of the night, a lot of them turned. Most of their group was gone, but they still had five more at the house. It was risky to even go outdoors. Things were at their worst right now and you couldn't risk anything or anyone for anything or anyone. It was all a game, a mere test. It was also the worst time of anybody's life. It was hell.

Dan crept along the outskirts of town with Phil close behind. Once they were at the pharmacy and grocery store (they were attached), they got straight to work. Dan was in charge of getting the food and other things for the group and Phil was in charge of getting the medicine and other important necessities for everyone. After they were done with getting the food and medicine, they were going to go to the weapon store and scout out the area.

Everything was so serious now. There wasn't any joking around or laughing anymore. Pretty much everyone was dead, including Dan and Phil's family and friends. Louise and Zoe were still alive, however they weren't near Dan and Phil at the moment. They were in America, and statistics showed that America was the worst state because of the outbreak. They couldn't leave though, at least they couldn't find Dan and Phil. They had been keeping up with each other with their phones, which surprisingly still worked. Not for long, though. Their data was soon going to run out and then they would be lost. They just had occasional updates on each other's lives and how everybody was doing. They were currently with Alfie and Joe. Dan and Phil had Caspar back at the house, along with a bunch of others that were in their building with them.

Dan and Phil were at the weapon shop now, and they were scoping out the area. They made sure there weren't any walkers and then they cautiously walked into the building. They firstly got much needed guns and ammo, then the knives and bombs, and lastly the bows and arrows. It was a lot to carry since they needed so much stuff, but they could manage. There weren't many walkers in this part of town, and if there was, then they were easy to kill off. No one liked the idea of killing anybody, but these weren't people. They were monsters.

Dan and Phil were finally getting ready to leave. Once they were for sure ready, Phil realized that he forgot something in the store. Dan told him to hurry up and be careful. He kissed Phil's cheek and let him go quickly. He had been waiting, making sure everything was alright when he heard a quiet scream from the store. He quickly ran back into the building, searching for Phil. He had his gun at hand and he was frightened for Phil. He ran towards the back of the store and finally found Phil. There was a walker on top of him and he quickly shot it down.

Phil was breathing heavily and he looked pale and scared. Dan was frantic and scared.

"Is there any more?" He asked, holding Phil's shoulders, "Did you get bitten?"

Phil quietly nodded, and he started to cry. His lip quivered and Dan hugged him. He hugged him not only to keep him safe, but because he loved him. Phil held out his hand, and Dan saw that it was bitten in between the thumb and index finger. The web of the fingers were bloody and you could clearly see where the bite was. Dan hugged him again and quickly walked them out of the store. He held his gun out in front of him, making sure the area was safe before supporting Phil and running them home quickly but quietly.
