Odessa rushes around her room, getting ready as fast as she can. She had overslept, and was worried she would be late. She quickly steps into her Versace Medusa Aevitas and quickly flips her hair for volume. Odessa finally steps into her car and speeds towards the park.

It was twenty-five minutes past their meeting time and Diaphanous starts to feel discouraged. She had already set the blanket out and put out the berries-with the cover still on- and even laid out the flower. The bread in her bag that she had saved for the ducks will soon be stale, and Diaphanous worries.

Maybe Diaphanous had come on too strong. Maybe Odessa thought that Diaphanous was weird. Maybe Odessa had a late start to her day! Yeah, that was the one, she assures herself. Checking on her orange locks to make sure they hadn't gone frizzy, she decides to check her phone. 11:30. Diaphanous sighs. Going onto her messages app to text Odessa, she hears rushed footsteps behind her. Turning around, she sees Odessa running. Standing up, Diaphanous smoothes out her dress and shoots her a small smile.

Stopping, Odessa takes deep breaths. "I'm so sorry-," She starts, pausing to take another deep breath. "-I slept in and I took a little while longer-" She doesn't think and pulls Diaphanous into a hug. "I'm sorry." Diaphanous is too flustered to say anything, but manages out a small, "You're fine. Don't worry."

Feeling Odessa's arms around Diaphanous starts to get her blushing heavily. Realizing that they had been hugging for over a minute, they separate.

Diaphanous did smell good, Odessa admits to herself as the separate, and ushers them both to sit down.

Diaphanous fumbles for the rose, and hands it to her, unable to look Odessa in the eye. "This is for you," She smiles. Odessa chuckles and thanks her, pulling her into another hug. Odessa can't refrain from hugging her and smelling her sweet scent once again. She now starts blushing, the light pink dusting across her face.

"I brought some berries- and some bread for the ducks-" Diaphanous brings out the long baguette from her tote bag, and in her rush, she hits Odessa's cheekbone with the baguette. A big laugh leaves Odessa's mouth while Diaphanous gasps, giving multiple apologies. She reaches her hands out to make sure Odessa is okay, while Odessa reaches out to grab them. "You're good, don't worry about it! Seriously, I'm fine." She chuckles. Odessa can't help but feel mesmerized staring at Diaphanous.

Noticing the long gaze, Diaphanous quickly turns and opens up the berries. Odessa reaches out an arm and grabs a raspberry, savoring the taste. Scrunching up her face, she looks at Diaphanous. "Where did you get these? They're so good!"

Noticing that Odessa shares a love for raspberries too, she beams.

"Oh! I was just walking around the city and I came across this grocery store," She grabs her phone to send the location to Odessa. Seeing that the message was sent, Odessa picks up her phone to check it out. Quickly, Odessa's face erupts in worry.

"Dee, this part of the city is really dangerous. Just stay out of there, yeah? If you want some of those berries, just ask me and I'll get them for you." She looks into Diaphanous' eyes to make sure she understands.

Not wanting Odessa to find out she actually resides in that part of the city, she nods.

"You got it. Thanks for looking out for me." Diaphanous smiles. "Now, we should feed the ducks before the bread goes stale!"
